I have watched so many videos that the salesperson just want it to last for 10-15 minutes tops. They give totally inadequate presentations. The focus on themselves more than the RV they are presenting. You show everything, which is exactly what a prospective buyer wants. Many do not open all cabinets, many are surprised to find washer/dryers (1st timers), 90% do an inadequate job of presenting the product. Some do not even show you the bathroom !!!! MY hats off to you for this excellent presentation !!!!!
I think Lance did an outstanding job in designing this camper. I love the windows!!! Nobody does a better job than PJ in demonstrating features. If I didn't have to house grandchildren I would buy this in a heartbeat. I love it!!!
It would be nice to own one for paw and grandma to get away for a few days or so.
I subscribed because of PJ she does the best walkthrough. I'm never left with questions.
I think this 2018 Lance has everything I need to be happy out there on the road and to accommodate my family. Once again I appreciate the walkthrough she did a wonderful job.
Put the sewer hose in the rear bumper, and open that area up. Offer a non queen size bed. Window in the oven door. Master lighting (bus) on /off at the door. At these prices, there is no excuse. I do enjoy your videos.
P.J. is just great - this decision is going to be tough for us, and a little scary. Being able to study at home, watching these videos, sure makes it easier.
Glad to help!
PJ always does a great job with the Lance campers. She provides a complete review and her video vignettes are the first place I go, as I consider which Lance to purchase next year. Thank you PJ and Princess Craft RV.
Your walkthrough is very informative. I like how you take the time to show the important measurements and height of the trailer very important to know my husband is 6-3. Your Design is very equipped for on Road or off. I really don't think you left anything out. I'm impressed. Thank you for taking the time to show us consumers. They're at those of us who appreciate it.
We're glad the video works for you! It sure makes it all worthwhile to know we've helped someone!
Princess Craft thank you. Thinking very much so on purchase
I know this is an older video, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciated how well you executed this and how complete it was in so many ways. I am looking at a 2020 model and although there have been some subtle improved changes you have shown me almost everything I have wanted to know about this superb trailer. My compliments to you for this all inclusive, no-nonsense, well planned video presentation !!!!!!!!!! EXCELLENT JOB !!!
Very nice travel trailer and great overview.
I only wish Lance and other high-quality travel trailer manufacturers put dual axles on even their smallest trailers. To me that's a major safety and driveability feature.
Winnebago Micro Minnie does just that.
This is my favorite small trailer. Well done Lance! Excellent presentation by the young lady. The music reminds me of Matt and Kim "Daylight".
I really think lance sells itself. But she's nothing short of a bonus to us from lance sales person. Thank you for the tour. Currently I own the palomino hs 2902 back pack edition truck camper. Mistake. I should have spent more but quality would be there. I will be going lance on my next purchase. Love the info and being showed around. Job well done.
Thanks for watching!
One of the better layouts I have seen. Im not entirely sold on the individual seating. Nor am I keen on having TV on the same side of the unit as either a cook top or a water faucet, but at least in this unit that can be protected against with minor modifications.
All in all its worth looking at.
Very nice walk-through, and you’re very knowledge! Nicely done, and great job to get ahead of the game to show these changes on the new 1475 trailer!!
Very well done video. This is what a camper tour should look like.
Very good commentary of the trailer, regardless of what the "JERK" below said! I really like your walkthroughs. I have personally seen some of the lance trailers as well as others, and the Lance stands out in quality far and above the ones I have compared them with. Some of them are just JUNK!
wayne owen we thought so too I just bought one. Their largest pull along 2012 used in mint condition in Orlando
You are a jerk. A jerky mcjerkerton
I have a 2017 1475 and while the materials and floor plan are excellent, there is a major design flaw in my opinion. The roof is installed below the level of the sidewalls and the front cap is higher than the roof as well. This makes rain water pool on the entire roof to a depth of almost 1/2" which just invites leaks, which I have already had. The front of the trailer has to be lowered way past level to drain the water. Lance says the roof is fine and to be sure to keep up the seals. I say the roof should be designed properly so that pooling water isn't a concern.
I seriously would like to see a quick overview of the whole floor plan before watching long winded comments about each and every detail. I think these videos are informative but it’s a long wait to see if it’s something the would work before the long wait.
Love the chairs as opposed to the usual bench dinette. Nice trailer.
Excellent commentary and camera work as usual. Easy to understand and follow along.
The 2019 Lance brochure shows that the "All Weather Package" is an option for ALL trailer models, and the Lance website says the "Four Seasons option is available for all Lance truck campers, travel trailers and fifth wheels.” I sure hope this review was mistaken, and the 1475 can actually be ordered with "Enclosed, Insulated and Heated Holding Tanks, Insulated Hatch Covers".
Please note that the video was showing a 2018 model, and the video was produced and shared in 2018. Updates to options and features have been made for the 2019 year models, and the 2019 documentation, both physical and digital, reflect those changes.
This is a brilliant design. And build quality looks excellent.
You get a big A plus , I enjoy it very much . Would love this trailer . Thank You
Funny how the gutter down spout discharges right over the storage area and not the rear of the trailer 😆US RV makers never fail to disappoint.
I love all the Lances I have viewed. I have the 2075 on my wish list. The one thing I am not a fan of is the mirror on the outside of the bathroom door. If you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, groggy and see your reflection in the mirror, that can be enough to give you a heart attack. The need a shade on the mirror you can close when you go to sleep
Yes someone said about being showed with lights out. Very nice.
All right!!!!
Love how you took a shot of it with the lights out !
Smart improvements. 👍 Nice looking. Also, I liked seeing the nighttime view.
This Lady is awesome. She knows more then 80% of men now of days
Have Lance 2018 must travel. I'm sold
I do like this trailer over the 1575 because the door is in the back but I prefer a dinette as well. I was waiting for PJ to demonstrate the awning. I can't tell if the awning has a cover to protect the awning material itself from rain like the Fiammas.
This is probably my favorite travel trailer, I'd love to get one if they were cheaper. I would also bet they would even sell way more of them, if they had a slide out on the dinette side,...or even on both sides. It would give you so much more space, with probably not a lot of added weight.
She is so thorough.
Great content...you make me smile...you show a home like a man...point in every nook and cranny first...maybe forrest for the trees first. Let's see the HOME space before every feature. Did I say great content?
nice job on the presentation of a perfect trailer for me.
Thanks! Glad you found your perfect match!
Awesome refrigerator!
Glad you started inside
Gent with a good wife and grown kids. This looks like a winner!
Very good tour. I love the swivel rockers. I like this model, but I think I need more storage.
Really like all the storage space, like the bathroom, I have a 2012,R-Pod, not enough storage space
Let’s take a look inside at all the lights. You’ll notice that as soon as you enter there are switches for the lights. On the left is a large wardrobe inside it has shelves and lights. Then there is bathroom with shower that has magnets and lights. There is also a toilet and small sink that has lights above it. And beside that is the refrigerator its stainless and inside there are lights. Moving on around to the kitchen area you will notice a sink and large counters that have lights over them. Above the large counters with lights are storage areas with lights. As you continue around you will notice a wall with a light switch to turn on the lights. There is a bed with lights around it and a storage area above with a net and lights. Moving on around there is a nice seating area with two swivel chairs and a table, oh and there are lights and windows. Notice over head there is a vent fan and an ac the ac has lights that light up. There is even a panel on the wall that has a blue light.
Thank-you for a very informative presentation. Is there room for two batteries?
What a wonderful video, very knowledgeable, picked up a bunch of pointers. Thank you so much
Thank you for providing all the specs in the intro so your viewers don't have to search online. Also very good quality video, easy to watch and listen to :)
just wanted to know how much
Love this layout and all the cabinetry is beautiful the only thing i think they could do that would make this perfect is make the swivel chair area a slide out just for a little bigger feel or even to fit a dinnet as an option . Great walk through also like how you were talking about the underbelly not being insulated very hounest i like that , i would still buy this knowing that
Love the kitchen Tap, so you can fill a jug of water on the counter to make Iced Tea, rather than filling it with a glass, one or two cups at a time.
This is perfect everything is where I'd like it to be great camper
Tell Lance they should offer the 2 chairs & Laguna table as an option in there truck campers.
We can pass the input up the chain! Thanks!
love this unit the swivels just need to be recliners or 1 recliner and 1 swivel. My hubby has copd and sleeps in recliner
We've been looking at the Max but y'all may have changed our minds.
I like the big window I’ve seen on other models. I don’t need a TV bracket on the outside. Are these options that can be changed?
Very nice
Awesome presentation Ms. PJ.. Very thorough n informative.. You have a great voice for voice overs, you should also look into that😄... God bless.
I like it but they should have 2 propane tanks so you have a back up one. She did an awesome job.
I would get one today if they had a 4 season option
They now offer the 4 season in these smaller RVs
What is the 4 season option?
@@kimsloveforreborns6458 More insulation for winter camping.
This is a really nice trailer! I love how it can be pre- wired for solar. Is there an option to have a composting or cassette toilet, mini wood burning stove, and a alcohol range like the Origo?
We love this trailer, too. The options you're listing would need to be done by you after purchase. Lance won't make such large scale changes to the manufacturing processes for a one-off unit... and I imagine they'd have some concerns with the wood burning stove as it presents some liability for the manufacturer.
Thank you.
Nice trailer! I’ve looked at everything else in its class and it’s the best by far. It seems very well built. I am interested in the slide out model. Can easy chairs be installed in stead of the couch? I think it would also need a larger window so you could actually see out there while sitting inside. Can the factory do those changes? What would it cost?
I wonder how big that "pass through" door is under the bed going to the larger storage outside & is there any storage aside from that under the bed in another section? everything looks great.
Great video PJ....thank you 😊
Thank you very much for your review of a trailer that is not even on the Lance Site....what is going on, dealer gets a Trailer that does not even show on the Lance Site???? Wish Princess Craft was in Canada!
Will a small 2 wheel drive truck pull this size camper
This is the Best Light Trailer I have Seen....How Much ?
Don't like the idea of not having the underside insulated for year round camping
rocky jackson then buy a 4 season camper.
Very nice features. ALL manufs need to get interior LEDs on dimmers . Its so obvious .
thanks, very thorough review. Super nice little trailer, so how is this powered then if you want to boondock for a few days... is there not a generator onboard?
Can you take the sink and vanity out of the bathroom so you can get a bigger shower? And if you can, how much more would that be approximately?
Overall, it looks well put together.
The only issues I can see, is there is no where to hang any of your clothes. And as much as I like the two rocking chairs, it doesn't appear that the table can be adjusted to where it's flush to the wall, and still useable from both chairs. Which means it will always be intruding a little bit into the walking area.
I do wish more manufacturers would start using lighter colours in their designs. We do it in our houses - painting small spaces lighter colours, makes them seem bigger than if they are all darker tones. Seems like an obvious thing to me.
Its always great to hear a base price.
Lance needs to make a full size 5 wheel I wanna to see how nice it will be
Once again....a fantastic video!
Thank you!
How many illegal immigrants can I squeeze into that RV?
once asgain ,another great tour .it would help alot if you added the tow weights . thnx oh what the price range for these?
Great video and great trailer! I hope to get one someday
Is the table height adjustable? how comfortable is it to work on a computer while sitting? which do people prefer-- the chairs or the couch?
I have a gas Ram 2500 truck.im looking for a camper trailer in the 2500 to 3500 size and yours is perfect for me.
Great informational video. I am buying this model in a couple days. I live in Central valley of Cali farming areas. We obviously don't get below 30 very often. Will the furnace keep me warm through out? Also can the furnace be ran on electricity or is it just propane. I have sensitivity to propane. Thanks. Kim.
What's the first thing you want to know when you're looking at a travel trailer? The price. What's the one thing they never mention? The price.
I only wish the bed had a way for us both to be able to get in and out from our own sides. Being disabled makes this search very difficult.
The thing i like the most is that it has an oven . The idea of going on a trip and only being able to cook on a two burner stove would not be good. Now sure camp fire cooking is fun but not simple
It's just a little to big, the GVWR is a bit more than I can handle with my Ford Edge, nice trailer though!
Great walkthrough PJ like always but I don't understand why all these trailers have some cheap-ass Jensen TVs and radios you spend so much money on them you think they put something nicer in.
I would like to buy this for year round. I live in lower mainland BCand it seldom gets below freezing. Is there some way I can maybe put a skirt on and put some heat underneath if I'm parked for the winter in an RV park ?
There's always a way! ... Check out some of the great forums and blogs for full-timers. You'll find great resources and answers there.
could I see a pic of under the unit?
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to share photos in the comment sections of UA-cam videos. Contact our sales dept. and they can snap a pic of the trailer's under-side and email it to you. sales@princesscraft.com
I really want one of these. Are they ever on sale or below 30k? Do you give a discount if paid for with cash in full?
I really love the features except the windows. At night especially when you go to close the windows you will let in all the bugs and mosquitos. Mosquitoes are bad on the texas gulf coast in the summer.
Excellent video...im sold!
Instead of a queen bed I would have a leather pull out couch to the right side that way all of that other space in between I can have maybe a small dresser desk on the other side for computer home working other than that it's very nice I could utilize the queen side bed space a lot better with a leather pull-out couch that would convert into a maybe half full size bed and that way when I pull it up I would have a lot of legroom across from me that would make it very residential OG Arrington back to the study keep up the good work
Great video and a very gracious commentary throughout. I really like the rocking chairs and sliding table. And those European windows are an excellent design. Do you know if they would have similar options on the larger trailers like 1685. I love everything about 1685, except that ugly dinette that is uncomfortable and rigid.
Also question on the windows. Are they real glass or plastic? And if they are plastic, how resistive they are to scratches and weathering?
Thanks for the comments! The 2018 trailers will have similar options available. The windows are double pane acrylic. As long as you're aware of that and use appropriate cleaners and microfiber cloths, you'll find that the windows are in it for the long haul!
Bonjour je souhaiterais avoir une documentation sur cette caravane et savoir si elle est vendu en france
The LANCE 1985 is the one I would like to get. ....so nice.
We have one 1985 on our sales lot right now!
rather random, but is the clock a little crooked?
I love to own
Really like this size and style but would need to be more durable for my overland use.
hi love it 😆 WOOOO BEAUTIFUL but I wanted to see a accessible for people with waker weelch
You might consider looking into a toy-hauler model for better accessibility with wheel chairs and walkers. That would allow for a ramp and a wider entry point.
Can you do a video demo of the new Lance 1475S (slide-out)?
what does the underneath look like is it enclosed?
I wonder why they changed the windows for 2018. I loved that giant one by the captain's chairs. It's half the size now.
I am not certain why Lance changed the "picture" window but suspect it was due to the way it opened. My youngest grandkids could easily hit their heads while running around, on the open window of the old style. The top approx. 2/3s was permanent, the lower third opened in two sections and was all glass. This "Euro" window opens out more, allow more air circulation and is a bit higher to prevent kids from inadvertently smacking their heads! This is NOT an Official Answer, just my opinion. We liked the 2017 model but BOUGHT the 2018 and love it!!
Wish this was dual axle, I know the next one up is dual axle, but it also has a slide out, I don’t want a slide out! 😢😢
Just wish you'd add price points when doing these videos.... everything else is spot on though
I love this one. Two questions. I am 5'5". Is it possible to connect the bath fan wiring connected to the over head light switch or add a control fan switch next to light switches? How much down pmt is required w/o trade in? Love your videos.
Wiring mods are doable, but you'll want to talk it through with our service department. 10% down payment get's you locked in! If you'd like all the numbers, just give a call to Steve or Brent and they can get you all set up!
Wonderful!! Thank you so much.
wish i could afford one.
I like this a lot better than the last I saw. Uh NO to that pipe to the gas being under the trailer & exposed to flying rocks. 🙈🙈🙈
