Thank you for sharing your wonderfully shot video and adventures. Even though I'm a Brit it was great to follow your journey and to see new places, inspirational! Also, congratulations on an epic video edit, it must have taken as long as your trip😄👍

Im looking forward to your trip Mat. I spent 2 years in New zealand on a working holiday, loved the place from top to bottom, stunning country and really friendly people. Wellington is the best little city and queenstown is a special place. I did a bit of kayaking on the milford and doubtful sounds, they would be worth a side mission for you and your new hobby.

Hey there you two! Small world we live in. The other night we were having dinner out in Croom with your sister and brother-in-law and H-Man of course. He told us about you and your family gave us your channel. Also funny is we used to own this domain name several years ago. Anyway nice video and thank you for sharing. We toured England and Scotland back in 2013 and enjoyed it. We especially enjoyed cycling the "Tow" paths! While cycling along the tow paths we camped as well right on them and worked some of the locks for something to do. One long boater gave us a master key that worked all the bathrooms, showers, and water and another gave us a map from the early 70s of the canals which came in handy working our way north. Take care and hope our paths cross in the near future. Seems like we have several people in our circle that we know. ~Ron & Petra

Small world indeed! When we decided to change the name of our channel I was surprised that PedalPowerAdventures was not taken already. Those canals in England are defiantly unique and sounds like you all had a good time on them, especially getting the secret "Key". Meeting locals is such a fun bonus with bike touring. Hopefully we can meet up sometime. Happy Trails!

Congrats to the Pedal Power duo ... I was starting to wonder what happened to you guys this year, this video explains it, and it was worth the wait. What an amazing trip and journey. I visited Loc Lomond earlier in the year and what an amazing place! Thanks for sharing this and letting us in on your anniversary celebration! Happy anniversary!

Thank you so much! It was an awesome adventure and still hard to capture how amazing it was. We agree about Loch Lomond and glad we had the extra time there. It did take longer than anticipated to put together the video with a few challenges when we got home but wanted to be able to properly dedicate the time to it. Appreciate you following along on our journeys.

Many thanks. It was such a great experience. Weather about what we planned for and actually was better since we did the reroute avoiding Wales section where it would have been raining more.

That was a really balanced visually and the commentary simple and interesting.
My plan is to do Lejog just as you did and return home to Edinburgh on The Pictish trail.
I have heard and seen that the GB Divide through Wales is very difficult with a great deal of "bog-trotting" so your route was the best for type 1 enjoyment.
All in all, this vlog is a great inspiration. Thanks.

Thank you for the good feedback. It's an epic adventure. We did meet a couple doing the Pictish trail to Edinburgh. Agree it looks like a great way to get there. We loved sight seeing in Edinburgh as it was such a cool city.

Thanks so much. We found it to be an amazing route. We did love remoteness on the GB Divide part, but we also were really happy that we did the reroute picking up some of the LEJOG so we could play tourist and experience some of the cities.
