    For board 4, the robot may not choose to bid 3H, so they could either 1) not be in a game, 2) opponents end up playing spade, or 3) get a different lead. With AQs and Kd all offside, 4H was destined to be down unless W started out by cashing out as it did, so may not be a big swing here.

    Board 4: West cashed the ace of clubs and continued low, East putting up the ten. Surely even the robot would put up his highest club. So West started with AK spades and AQ clubs. He is competing to the 3 level so I would be playing him for likely shortness. I would hook the heart.

      I just commented above. I expected shortness for West's 3s continuation. If East has any semblance of a 1 heart call (6 points) and you know West has AKs and AQc. My guess is that he has shortness to go on. It leaves East with the Js, the Qh, and the Kd. 6 highs, toss the Jd in for 7 points. When there is known shortness, say a weak 2 and his partner has 3, It changes the math on the Queen Drop Thingy.
