Is there cell service underground? Visiting montreal next month from NY and 10 min headways overnight is phenomenal compared to the 20 min overnight headways here
Yes! All stations are supposed to have cellular service and most do. However, in the last few years there have been some dead patches of service but nothing major. Yeah the only problem for us is our metro is not open 24 hours a day. Service usually ends around 1:00 am or so and later on Saturday into Sunday.

Why do they still use MR-73? why not all azur?
I don't think there are enough AZUR trains for the entire metro service. Plus the MR-73 still has a good 10 years of life left or so I believe
Because at St-Michel they was'nt finish the station so he has no choice to put up barriers at all stations
Well if the metro is broken they made the stm buses for back up
Yeah if there's long service disruptions ever they bring out shuttle buses
