You make this seem so easy, Dr. Y. You saved me 100+ years of catch-up study!

Thank you! Excellent lesson. Love the melodic jazz ideas instead of noodling over one scale.

I am not a jazz player, so I just learned a lot! Great lesson on enclosures! That de-mystifies a lot of jazz for me. Thanks very much.

Thank you for this Mastery Course, it was very enriching !! I understand better now why when I play, it doesn't groove! I studied (by ear) the improvisation played by the second guitar of the song "l'orage" by Gorges Brassens, it took me more than 2 months to achieve it, and now I realize that I didn't use the right technique (By the way, I only play fingers without a pick). I hope it's not too late to correct my guitar playing. Perhaps you can tell me what you think about it? ua-cam.com/video/KOUTCj_-UrA/v-deo.html
      Merci beaucoup !! @@GypsyAndJazz

ignore the focus on chord shapes & use what works for flute

That's a great idea, it's about the music not the specific fingering.

I have no idea how I posted that comment to UA-cam! I was trying to share with a friend who is working on improvisation on flute.
I'm glad I was polite since it went public!

At least you know I'm not any crazier than you already thought.
