      netcoms197 lol I would like your studies verifying this. I eat wild caught fish, not farmed fish.

      @@netcoms197 Nothing about wild caught fish.

      @@netcoms197 Again I eat community supported sustainable wild fish, which does not present these problems. From a plant based protein perspective, to think plant foods are nontoxic is erroneous. 90% of US soy is GMO and heavily doused with cancer causing glyphosate. Mock meats are loaded with Omega 6 hexane processed oils, also loaded with glyphosate. Plant proteins on their own for a sustained period of time are also not bioavailable, leading to severe B vitamin and zinc deficiencies. That is why middle eastern cultures eat a vegan diet as a fast for Lent, but not long term, as fasting for life leads to many problems. While I do not eat a meat heavy diet, I never tell others what to eat because everyone is different. What works for me may not work for others and visa versa. What I do though is present recipes from my culture that has benefited my family. All of the older generations of my family (from grandparents to aunts and uncles) are living well past their 90s. I look to them for inspiration, and present the foods that they eat. That is all.

      Hi Jacqui! You are correct I have not made a video on bread yet, as it is a long process. I do have a wonderful recipe in my cookbook in the meantime. Still trying to figure out a way to present this recipe in a video with all the steps involved. ;)

    Recipe looks good and you seem like a really nice lady! Note: You cross contaminated your salt and pepper grinders with raw fish. Try to use one hand to handle fish and the other to handle your spices.

    Do you remember exactly what fish you used?? My mom usually uses tilapia fillets for the Assyrian version of samak bi ta7ini

    • @blanchetv
      @blanchetv  4 роки тому

      I used petrale sole, but you can use rockfish, haddock, or cod. I generally don't use tilapia because that fish is mostly farmed instead of wild, which I notice gives the fish a strange aftertaste ;)
