I think he warned so because he might took advantage and might make a host out of you if you do, he started getting more fond of you, ditched the idea of transfurring you, allowing you to touch him without getting transfurred, he even gave you consent to feel and rub his body on special edition
I'll be honest, when I initially heard of this game the only thing I could think of was "kink game" and when I saw Manly post the first video I watched it out of morbid curiosity. After the second I was somehow invested into the story and Puro with how cute he was with the protag.
It's definitely a good fetish game. Fetishy enough for the ones who like that, but not too fetishy for anyone who just wants to play the game. It's a good balance.
I know it was badly translated but I missed the "You made me so headache." line Dr. K used to have. That's a legendary line. wouldn't be to out of place since he recently smashed his head against the locker. I also miss Puro's extremely broken English in earlier builds, it was really in character since Puro had no one to practice speaking to.
The wild part about this game is that without the poses characters make when they get transformed, it's really not that obvious of a fetish thing? If your character didn't make a full ahegao face or grow hips when it happened it would just be "oh geeze that's fucked up".
If dialogue sometimes feels weird it's because the game was originally in Chinese, also there is a remake of this called Changed: Special that adds lots to the game. If you can get over the fact that it's fetish-y it's actually a decent little game.
i remember there's other fetishy chinese game that other youtubers have played... the 1st one is about a school girl having to avoid jumpscares and fetish-y deaths. the 2nd one (from the same developer iirc) is the otaku adventure game (which is more comedic but still have some fetish stuff). i dunno, this game's heavy fetish theme kinda reminds me of them, though this one's writing is much better, interesting and heavy compared to those two. i still recommend people to not dwell on furry fetish though. extreme furry fetish can lead to bestiality... we humans already done so much destruction throughout history. no need to add traumatizing animals on that.
@@mochalatte8362 i remembered it. kio's adventure and otaku's adventure. manly has played both. kio's adventure is just too messed up and incomplete. otaku's adventure is amusing though (gohard's route is the coolest route imo. other routes are just too weird).
What’s unfortunate is, if you ignore all the naughty stuff in this game, the characters/world could be pretty interesting and creative. I don’t think anyone dislikes Puro for example
Honestly the reason I kept watching was because of both ManlyBadassHero and Puro, that said It only got more Interesting the farther you get, so this was not a waste of 3 hours
It's nice that Puro still considers player a "human", even after him turning into fluffy white doggo in a good ending or into black doggo in that assimilating bad one. A certified good boy, if that title applies to bootleg latex dogs
I sincerely love that Manly is the type of gamer that can find the subjective good in everything. This man is out here complementing a furry fetish title, *and* stating some hentai games are more fun than mainstream ones in the same breath. That positivity and confidence is really what sets Manly apart, honestly. What a Chad.
To be fair, some h-games are incredibly good games by themselves, and would still be even without the hentai :P Take the "SEQUEL" series for instance, it's a great adventure RPG (with quite a number of naughty bits :P )
There's some decent fighting games out there with sexual content. The communities you'd actually see for them usually hyper-focus on the gameplay, but the other stuff is squirreped in there somewhere. Heck, even the oldest SNK fighters had very brief and hidden moments of nudity. Sometimes there's interesting stuff in the gutter. Just... I'd prefer it if the good could be extracted, and others clearly agree with me because it often is.
Oh, trust me. They aren't just "hyper-focused on gameplay", if you get what I mean. I'm not one of those people but I have seen such people who take H-games way too seriously. Like for example, I used to engage in the VS culture (basically this is a collection of communities that revolve around which fictional character will win in a fight). And there was that one dude who would use characters from a goddamn H-game. And he would present them as this super OP characters who can obliterate entire multiverse with their vaginas and shit. The dude was crazy over it. Not just that but he would also go on defending the H-game (even tho it had a shota character ffs), claiming that it had "anti-racist messages". Like sure, dude, keep telling yourself this, we know the real reason why you "play" the game, lol.
I like people who can see the qualities of something beyond 'ew, this is for a fetish' or such. Fetishes or not, a game is a game, and it can still be good or bad based on its gameplay. Another example of a good-in-gameplay fetish game is 'Gon' E-Choo!' on Steam, which is quite vorish-focused but also just a really fun retro-arcade-style-game.
@@WhoAmIHmmm Tbf, the creator of the game is an NSFW Artist. The whole game is built for furries and makes money off of furries. It legit takes advantage of specific kinks to make income. But you have to give credit, for an indie borderline nsfw game, it has a lot of effort put into it. DragonSnow, the creator, has many other games like Changed with equal or better quality.
Now that ManlyBadassHero played Changed, it's only a matter of time that people ask him to play the special edition. Interesting to see how that goes. But either way, it's been a fun series to watch!
He should play games like Adastra,Echo or Angels With Scaly Wings.Furry nature aside the style of those games fits right into his tastes (cuteness & horror)
I think the implied nature of the transformation is that the latex is like, a carrier sort of thing? So you and the scientist's bodies are probably latex, as those organisms were used to modify the genes of the subject. The 'refined' one that the scientist used was just like, more controlled and safe, where the other ones kind of destroyed the subject's brain. So yeah while the colour choices make it very hard to tell, I think they're probably still goo monsters. Also something I thought was very funny was Puro's sweat drop expressions, they make him look like he's melting, lol.
They actually explicitly state what the transformation aspect is early in the game's data logs. The Latex creatures have unstable DNA, and they need human hosts to stabilize it, and they act kind of like a virus, where they inject their DNA into their hosts to merge with them. It's also stated that after this occurs, the host still has all their memories and personality, but also the memories and personality of the latex that imprinted on them. Because of the cycles of death and splitting they go through, most of the latex creatures actually probably have very little impact on the host's memories and personalities, as they'd only have a few weeks worth of memories/personality development, it's the animal-latex hybrids that are actually seriously dangerous to the subject's mind, as their DNA has stabilized enough to give them some longevity to form more memories and personality, on top of having the memories and personalities of the animal host. The Scientist probably uses a larval form of the latex, one that has developed zero memories or personality on themself and "You" in the game, since that'd transform them without having any imprinting effects.
@@ColdestMorning Almost anything fictional enough will get my brain going for hours, thinking of small nuance quirks, and what certain outcomes would be like, its a fun pass time!

It can be seen as an endearing title. Imagine another intelligent being addressing you by your species name, and not something like "freak" or "monster", I'd respect that.
honestly the ending where Dr. K turns you is the best ending, and i would've done the same thing. it's the only ending where Puro and the human can leave the building without one ir both of them being implied to die soon after. yeah, you don't remain human, but at least no one dies
Theoretically if they had found that random bio robot (btw did it also feel like that kinda came out of nowhere to you guys?) Puro would have been all set but I'm pretty sure the human is fucked regardless
My mom once wrestled a bear. She dropped that on me completely randomly, while watching TV. "Did I ever tell you about the time I wrestled a young bear? It was fun but also hurt a lot..."
Yeah I mean, Steve Irwin, the Kratt brothers, and other survivalist/active field zoologist types pretty much put that preening to bed, lol. Not to mention K downplays the strength of average humans in that scene too. Our ability to use tools has always been a bigger strength than any claws, stingers, or other natural weapons. Even if one does have claws, humans prefer weapons (as opposed to "needing" them) because we know about like, leverage n shit, and what manufactured materials can do. Knowledge and versatility (and opposable thumbs) is what got us this far, hard to outclass that.
Just because how precious Puro is and how long it took for this video to come, you indirectly caused me to buy a furry game. Wanted to see what happens but then thought I could find out all by my self. Hopefully this experience didn't make me a furry but God I love Puro.
by liking a "furry" character, sexually or not, i think you might be a furry already- to some degree, as long as you remain a good person though, it doesn't matter what you like or don't like
Out of five endings and dozens of death screens there is only one good ending, and it kinda implies that we will probably die soon What an amazing game
@@SaltCan i mean the one where you agree to become a furry because you may be a virus carrier, and it's the only way to not die while still having your mind intact
Personnaly, losing my "humanity" would not bother me that much, as long as I don't become some ugly monster, keep my memories and still can do human things. Losing your humanity,in this case, basically mean adding animal features + better senses + strengh. That seems like a pretty good deal.
@@Miropup The goo type is the thing I would avoid at all costs, because I don’t want to be goo…that’s pretty much it. And personally, about the loss of identity, I don’t think it impact that much. The transformation (the one made by the doctor) is mostly esthetic and has no impact at all on your personality or your memories. Although it seem not to have occurred with the human, the one thing that I fear is that it doesn’t actually just change some visual properties and senses but would change my body proportions. I don’t want to be 2 meter tall or to be so thick that I can’t go to the toilets. Basically, I would prefer to still be able to live my life as if nothing happened and almost sometimes forgot about the transformation. If it wasn’t a post-apocalyptic world, I see two scenarios: -People would be questioning about my new appearance (there would probably be an other reason for me to have been transformed)… But I would get pursuit by the CIA and FBI to brought to area 51 and being used as laboratory subject. So I would flee and write book called “I’m ain’t human” which would talk about racism and stuff like that. Few years later, the law would stop pursue me and allow me to live a normal life, and at the same time, a Hollywood Movie Director would want to make a true story about my life. I would have become a legend and would rich and famous…which is not really because that means that I’m probably going to become depressive and alcoholic at a certain point… But People would make statues of me and consider me as a hero that remind the values of mutual tolerance like Nelson Mandela. Or People would be questioning me but as the government as other problems to deal with, they would ignore me and consider me as a random info. And maybe people would just learn to live with it. I would not become a super hero, I’m way too lazy for this, I have to manage responsibilities to myself first.
Thank you for playing this game so I could see and appreciate Puro’s character. Legitimately had no idea he had that good of a character, so that was a nice surprise after… Seeing him without context for a good while.
@@savvythedivineyethuggable7493 I mean due to the art style of the game (limited color palette) he looks white to us but he might look like a normally colored human to them (it's usually very common that the characters in a game/movie don't see their worlds in the same way that we the outside viewers see it).
So on another episode I mentioned that this game seems remarkably PG. Well, I checked a death compilation on good faith, and I now regret that because it turns out that Manly has probably cut a bunch of deaths short. No sex or nudity, but it can get real uncomfortable, and the Special remake goes pretty hard sometimes. So, I guess we can mark this down as a successful horror game? Y-yay? Changed is fascinating to me. The visuals and music are very good, and the writing, while occasionally faltering, is surprisingly compelling. I've found myself thinking about the different factions and characters frequently. The gameplay, while heavily trap-based, isn't even that bad. It's just that the game's subject matter, and the accuracy and detail it presents it in (having your mind and body stolen and pacified by a state of euphoria), is viscerally uncomfortable. It often feels non-consensually sexual, and makes it hard to recommend. It's also clear that Changed isn't entirely opposed to it's own horrors. Changed is a very interesting little microcosm of a game, and I'm both thankful and regretful that it was shown to me. Thank you, Manly, for steering us through this.
This game kinda fascinates me too because it has the kind of horror of a movie I watched a long time ago in which a person used a knife to take out all of his nails at some point
I describe this as an anti Furry game (because to win you must not be Furry), or a story that has nothing to do with Furries and goes deep down into every single detail of an apocalypse that is supposed to stop an apocalypse. and when I think the latter, I dive deep as well to uncover what Thunder Science Co. has done and how they do it, as in researching the details of stuff you see in the game. a Game Theory I would say, but not as yelling in my face as when Matpat does. moral in both descriptions: do not become liquid Furry, it is a bad vaccine.
Man I really am not the type of person to be into furry stuff nor the type to get emotional but for some reason this story and especially the friendship between puro and the human hit me as a truck on an emotional level. This game really surprised me like this.
Hey. Manly. Thank you. Like, seriously thank you. You actually took this game, and did what most playthroughs *dont* do. You took it seriously. That makes me happy to see, and I'm so fucking glad you did this. Thank you. You took my personal favorite game, and gave it a chance.
Even though this is a super obvious kink game, it's actually really well made, and Puro is freaking adorable. Kudos to the creator for sticking true to themselves and finishing the game with their partner. And big thanks to Manly for playing through it and getting all the endings.
Honestly, a not-so-horror game that’s quite good. (spoilers if you haven’t watch the video) Story is understandable, post-apocalypse world that somehow make sense ( Maybe except the furry cure that is immune to the disease). Considering True end, A good story means good characters, our MC goes from curious to cautious to acclimated with his world. A desire to survive at its best. Puro starts as mysterious and unpredictable but bonded with the MC after he talked to him. A likable support character that is somewhat relatable. Our mentally-unstable scientist is dangerous, yes. Introduced in the middle of the game, his sudden appearance is quite a twist. He is determined to save the humans by securing the surface world, even after a riot that devastated his work and colleagues. Dangerous but understandable and can be reason with. You read all that, right?
Ok but... why is this game actually good?? Like the storytelling is very well done??? In a game about goo furries?? It's a relatively short game but they show the stakes and the worldbuilding so thoroughly and quickly, and make you fall in love with Puro so quickly, even in a "bad" ending. And some of the narrative choices are actually really well done - like the title being "changed" so everyone thinks "yah haha changed into a furry" but then there's the whole monologue the scientist does at the end talking about how "in the end, nothing has changed" like getting all philosophical and nihilistic??? That's such a well-thought out double meaning, actually. And the contrast of our introduction to Puro involving him saying "please do not lean on me" as if he would assimilate you on accident, BUT the ending where you leave the building has this juxtaposed with him telling you "here, lean on me". Showing it was never about his BODY absorbing you, it was about him being tempted by his instincts to absorb the human and willfully choosing to keep the human safe; we see him touch the human more and more often through the game, and by the end of it he is fully in control of his instincts and no longer a threat to the human's safety. That's such a great narrative choice - and it's done almost exclusively through images. And the leaving the building ending tho??? The way we are actually left wondering if the human survives and thrives in the outside world - or if it's possible that he died, possibly of the virus. That sort of messed-up inconclusive ending hits hard, especially with such stakes involved - the safety of humanity, Puro reaching his dream, and the human's own desire to live all conflict each other so starkly. So basically, in conclusion: why the frick does this tiny RPG maker goo-furry-horror-fetishy game have better narrative mechanics and story building than many "big" games??
"Showing it was never about his BODY absorbing you, it was about him being tempted by his instincts to absorb the human and willfully choosing to keep the human safe" THANK YOU, FINALLY someone else that notices this!
just binged all 3 parts and now feel stupid for avoiding it. It was genuinely nice to watch manly play this game and i quite enjoyed his take on the game.
@@prasyaspaceagency7067 I don't think the first goal is reachable in this world. As it is with many things in life, doesn't always work out like you planned.
@@prasyaspaceagency7067 your main goal is remain sane and keeping your human mind. it’s not about human body. In fact, the transfur ending means you’ll basically get an upgraded body that can survive much better in the wild.
i have a decimating move against those correct their spelling this attack is so devastating that u have the firepower to blow them back to the jurassic era
Also gives you a decent chance of surviving in the wilderness, since as a human you don't have any warm clothes or shoes which would make surviving in the wilderness very challenging indeed.
@@draconic5129 yes, a valid arguement, as there are many advantages with that decision. But personally I like the way I am already, and couldn't live as anything but myself.
Wonder how latex fur thats also somewhat gooey would even feel like. Still trying to wrap my head around that. Puro was adorable throughout the game, really like him. The human warming up to the odd latex creature was cute to see. They really were in a no win situation just leaving. Puro couldnt survive long and exhaustion and hunger caught up to the human. Least becoming similar like "K" solved that and kuro sorta got his own host body in a sense. So wonderful to see the two free and together. The monster designs were cute and even though they were creepy body snatchers or possessors. I did see how most of the transfurs work out. Even though its that kind of game where seeing all the "deaths" is expected i can definitely see why we didnt see many in this play through. There was real good Creative editing on Manlys part im sure. It all flowed really well. Some of them looked somewhat suggestive and a few had kissing i think, so yeah "weird". like 2 of those endings. I can see why though. Cause its somewhat like a hive mind kind of thing and with the certain transfurs with text, the human found themselves accepting and enjoying it despite the struggles. The latex would overwrite the mind or consciousness of the host body. Scary body take over that has cute results lol. in the end the human changed into a real furry lol. hope to see more from the dev
I genuinely thought I would've hated this, But it turns out I really loved watching this. It's just one of those things that you don't think you'd like but then end up loving
I honestly keep thinking about that transformed doctor back in the last episode and beginning of here. I wasn't expecting anything like that, and honestly? Props to having that character in there. It gives that foreshadowing for the endings as well, our protag's fate, as well as more lore for what's happening *outside* the lab. I ragged on this game, still do jokingly, but the lore is rather well done (transfur fetish aside). The interaction with Puro and protag is pleasant, and i love that the madlad just resorts to fucking throwing protag out of danger.
_"Be the change you wish to see in the world"_ I don't think I would take the chance to infect the world by leaving as a human. I enjoyed the different endings. The saddest ending was where Puro transformed the human. Personally, I wouldn't want to lose my memories and mind. Those are the things that make us human - our ability to love and have compassion. A good game. While the subject matter may have been niche, I enjoyed the story and cared about the characters. Thank you for showing the different endings.
infect *who* ? the game states there aint no humans, there's no society? this game is poorly written, feels liek when they wrote it, they were doing it chapter by chapter. sorry, but it is what it is. huge logical gaps and plot holes.
@@TemmiePlays You didn't listen to the dialogue that well... The whole point of the scientist wanting to prevent the Human from escaping was bc he was _possibly_ infected with the virus that destroyed the world. And there was an elite group of humans waiting to repopulate it once all threat of the virus was gone. The story was pretty tightly woven within the dialogues of the various endings, which was why it was great to see from MBH.
That scientist personality is confusing, like one time he's a really really bad guy, but then suddenly become the nicest person in the world (actually bother himself turning mc, and finding host for puro)
I think its more like the scientist was really touched that the human was prepared to give up what makes him... well human. He sees a kindred spirit as the human is prepared to sacrifice his humanity to save his species, just like the scientist did, so the doctor is prepared to go the extra mile since he respects the human more now. Compared to other endings where the human puts humanity at risk by leaving or wants to stay a human, in which case he only does the bare minimum since he's more of just a hassle.
Honestly I'm just more confused how he didn't think to, just use the (basically a) cure on the protagonist in the first place, like, he already has it,
well to be fair from the scientists perspective it seems that the protagonist will do anything in his power to remain human. He watched him carefully navigate the whole facility doing everything possible to keep his dna firmly set to homo sapien, despite the risk. The scientist figured the protagonist must be some kind of determined puritan. What he didn't realise was thats not the problem for the protagonist, he doesn't care that much about his humanity he just doesn't want to lose his mind and personality. Hes not attached to staying human genetically, he just doesnt want to lose his self determination. Which is why the scientist was shocked when the protagonist just agreed cause he thought that anything but pure human would be a dealbreaker. So the whole thing could have probably been solved from the start without any conflict if the two just talked to each other rather than making assumptions. It was more of a failure of communication.
Amazing video, watching you play this was kinda strange but I'm glad you did. And I love the way you acknowledge that the game, while a weird one it is a well made game. As a furry let me tell you, this game is kind of a meme in the fandom for it's obvious transformation kink/fetish theme, but also everyone who has played it absolutely loves Puro, he is the best boy uwu And furries being a very artistic community, there's a lot of amazing art out there of Puro and of the game.
53:40 the way he looks while holding the blanket in this scene is just so cute 😍. FYI I'm not a furry, and I can say that with confidence knowing that it's a self-applied label 😎, it doesn't bother me though if you think that I am one I know there are a lot of haters in the world and I don't care what they think.
My brain thw whole playthrough: Help, let me go Help, let me go Help, let me go Let me go tonight You'll scream Help, let me go Help, let me go Help, let me go Stop kidnapping me.
Well the mission successful ending is a failure on its own because he dies, either because of the virus or because he's out in the wilderness without any shoes or clothes.
Yeah know, I never really liked the other Changed playthroughs, didn't really interest me that much, but once I saw that Manly was doing a video on it I was hyped, like maybe this one will be worth watching. And I was right, this series did not disappoint and was very much worth the time. Thanks for making my week better :)
Never had a game genuinely make me uncomfortable before, but somehow manly made it fun to watch.(even tho this game is just a big furry fetish-driven one)
Thank you for playing this game. I don't think I could due to its difficulty but I really enjoy the story. I really appreciate you getting all the endings. I hope this developer makes more games so I can watch you play them!
Honestly, for a game based on what it is, the story and events of this game are amazing, it's a shame there are some things you never truly find out but there's so much there overall. Glad this game exists, congrats on beating it Manly and for giving me an enjoyable story to watch. The voices fitted well imo. Keep up the good work.
You missed one bad ending (Easy mode). I've always loved movies like The Blob and always been terrified of the furry fandom. Adding both together to make a cutesy-horror is a match made in Heaven. Good game. I guess if we want the FULL Special Edition experience we need to support the developer. Gamers should always support the independence.
That sounds like a funny alternative ending ngl, probably gonna draw some character(s) inspired by this later, idk if i will ever post them, neither if you find this comment any interesting
That would probably be the only way that him surviving as a human would be even remotely possible. Without clothes and shoes it's inevitable that he would succumb to the elements.
Halfway through the video I was like - so the options are death and becoming a mindless furry? The hell is this crap? Luckily, true end combines both so you can feel dead inside AND be a furry too. Brilliant. (Really tho, True end is so much better than the other endings smh)
in the end, the game was like: being human physically sucks. why not become a furry with superior body but still keep your human mind? its the best ending! no. just no.
@@kukuhimanputraraharja8084 Yeah, it's kinda... eugh.. I see your point, and I thought about it. The other options are a.) Potentially doom humanity, put yourself and "Puro" at risk b.) Be enslaved and lose your mind as a furry You really are FORCED to go True end route.
God I'll just make a fanart of Puro because holy sh*t he deserves it, the devs really putted a good personality and effort on him. Such a good companion and friend!
The joke is that the player's chances of retaining their humanity is to NEVER obtain an ending. Essentially, living in fear of monsters and the scarcity of supplies in the long run.
im not a furry, and I'm really glad that manly just removed the parts i didn't really wanted to see. The game looks fun though. My English kinda sucks so, please don't destroy me
Human walks outside for a while, but then finds it hard to keep going. Puro: Human! You're tired! You should rest. Puro props up Human on the rock with him. But the virus finally caught up with Human... Human closes his eyes... But Human doesn't wake up. (The scary part is that this might have actually been the case in that first ending. The human dialogue just falls off at the end, and there's barely enough ambiguity for this to happen.) When Puro realizes Human isn't waking up, he tries to transfur Human to keep him safe... it doesn't work... hosts need to be living... And then Puro is holding a hole in his life. The human is g-___. He can't come to terms with it. He can't let it be true. All the things they'd been through... Was it worth noth-___? No, Human is-... ... wa-... ... Human was. Puro won't ever forget his best friend. Puro won't forget that Human's last memory was a happy one.
29:59: puro speen Ive said it before but even with the fetishy deaths, this game is pretty great ,very cool and interesting history and good but hard puzzles. And i won't lie,the designs of the characters are nice and some are cute, puro is adorable and so is his relationship with the human
what a sweet ending the true ending was! thank you for taking the time to play through this game and take it seriously without constantly ragging on the weird furry fetish stuff. I'm admittedly no fan of that content either, but it gets tiring to hear the same "ew, furries! ew, weird kinks!" kinds of "punchlines" every 30 seconds. I never would have bothered with this game if you hadn't taken the time to show it off with the respect it deserves, so thanks a million :D
I thought the Puro dialogue was forced, but I'm pretty jaded. With the sheer quantity of furry people drawn by this dev, they could probably make a full rpg if they wanted.
What Manly played: CHANGED What I expected: "Stop injecting your horrible fetishes into this game." What I got: "K was right and did nothing wrong. Without hearing Human and Puro, he had no idea of what, exactly, to expect. Even then, he is objectively right to say that one life weighs nothing compared to all of humanity. Plus, when all chips are on the table, he is able to give Human and Puro freedom AND life. He was the hero of this game even if we didn't know that for about half the game." but also "Stop injecting your horrible fetishes into this game."
"I REJECT MY HUMANITY, PURO!" In all seriousness, the true end doesn't sound bad? Some people are implying so, but you were going to die because of the virus, and even if you didn't consider the possibility, probably just wild animals True end gets you a strong body (protag was quite weak) and immunity to the virus, along with a body for Puro, all you sacrifice is your physical appearance You still have your humanity, and I think that's the core philosophical question here, what makes a human (In the metaphysical sense)? Their physical appearance? Biology? Or their mind and memories? To me, even Puro is undeniably human
Main character would also probably die from the fact that they don't have warm clothes and shoes, you won't get very far living outside wearing nothing but a pair of shorts (probably very thin ones at that).

It's definitely a good fetish game. Fetishy enough for the ones who like that, but not too fetishy for anyone who just wants to play the game. It's a good balance.
It feels like Puro belongs in an Undertale like RPG.

To be fair, some h-games are incredibly good games by themselves, and would still be even without the hentai :P
Take the "SEQUEL" series for instance, it's a great adventure RPG (with quite a number of naughty bits :P )
What a MAN-ly.

@@randomaccount6146 Yep. There is an expansion for the game Changed, which includes a lot of new 'transfurs'
I wouldnt say its worth tho. Isnt it the same plus very little extras
Damn, guess I'm not to only one who goes super into hyper analyzing the smallest details in fictional settings

If it wasn’t a post-apocalyptic world, I see two scenarios:
-People would be questioning about my new appearance (there would probably be an other reason for me to have been transformed)…
But I would get pursuit by the CIA and FBI to brought to area 51 and being used as laboratory subject.
So I would flee and write book called “I’m ain’t human” which would talk about racism and stuff like that.
Few years later, the law would stop pursue me and allow me to live a normal life, and at the same time, a Hollywood Movie Director would want to make a true story about my life.
I would have become a legend and would rich and famous…which is not really because that means that I’m probably going to become depressive and alcoholic at a certain point…
But People would make statues of me and consider me as a hero that remind the values of mutual tolerance like Nelson Mandela.
Or
People would be questioning me but as the government as other problems to deal with, they would ignore me and consider me as a random info.
And maybe people would just learn to live with it.
I would not become a super hero, I’m way too lazy for this, I have to manage responsibilities to myself first.

Ok but... why is this game actually good??
I just realized this concept is giving me serious Undertale Amalgamate vibes
Because of something that called love and passion.

Compared to other endings where the human puts humanity at risk by leaving or wants to stay a human, in which case he only does the bare minimum since he's more of just a hassle.
@@p-weirdo7094 maybe, though I still think he's a bit on the crazy side.
Honestly I'm just more confused how he didn't think to,
just use the (basically a) cure on the protagonist in the first place, like, he already has it,
well to be fair from the scientists perspective it seems that the protagonist will do anything in his power to remain human.
As a furry let me tell you, this game is kind of a meme in the fandom for it's obvious transformation kink/fetish theme, but also everyone who has played it absolutely loves Puro, he is the best boy uwu
And furries being a very artistic community, there's a lot of amazing art out there of Puro and of the game.
@Furryphobic No, I will not.
Oh wow, perfect timing. I just finished episode 2 and thought I'd have to wait for this episode!
Wow not only did you finish the game but you also got all endings.

This game was truly excellent, I loved the story and the gameplay, I really enjoyed watching this series you've made ManlyBadassHero :)
i wonder if manly is going to play the special edition of this game.
@baked beans yes. Special edition. It exists.

Thank you Manly for making me discover this... interesting game. Very appreciated.
This is an excellent first showing for the dev team. Very fun to watch, loved the music, and cute art.
Never had a game genuinely make me uncomfortable before, but somehow manly made it fun to watch.(even tho this game is just a big furry fetish-driven one)
i like how the "plastic star" joke was initially introduced in a really dangerous area, it was pretty funny

40:26 is where the Easy Mode ending begins.
@@starkiller1289 That's normal mode. Easy mode has Puro fully assimilate the player inside him.
I like that the best ending is literally the one where you choose neither option. You get your freedom and dont risk destroying humanity.
You also get a chance at even having your freedom because you don't die of the virus or succumb to the elements after one day.
Im so happy my sleep schedule is messed up. All for this one moment
I'm just so happy that you treat games no matter what with such respect. Even if strange, even if not fully your niche.
PURO!!! Loved it, really feel the love that was put into this!
I was wondering if Puro and Colin could pull a Venom situation to give him some sort of clothes without absorbing him
That sounds like a funny alternative ending ngl, probably gonna draw some character(s) inspired by this later, idk if i will ever post them, neither if you find this comment any interesting

That would probably be the only way that him surviving as a human would be even remotely possible. Without clothes and shoes it's inevitable that he would succumb to the elements.
I like this series cause is one of the few ones that scares Manly by tackling his one true fear: the risk of youtube demonetization
I love how just like in Undertale you have to get the normal ending to get the true ending.
You don't though, you just press escape button so you don't choose anything
@@Noobrsxn From what I read you have to talk and thank puro every chance you get so he doesn't abandon you when you choose to stay.

Halfway through the video I was like - so the options are death and becoming a mindless furry?
The hell is this crap?
Luckily, true end combines both so you can feel dead inside AND be a furry too. Brilliant.
(Really tho, True end is so much better than the other endings smh)
I mean, yea? I wonder if Dr. K let's you choose the creature?
in the end, the game was like: being human physically sucks. why not become a furry with superior body but still keep your human mind? its the best ending!
no. just no.
@@kukuhimanputraraharja8084 Yeah, it's kinda... eugh.. I see your point, and I thought about it.
The other options are
a.) Potentially doom humanity, put yourself and "Puro" at risk
b.) Be enslaved and lose your mind as a furry
You really are FORCED to go True end route.
Well it is ultimately a furry game. A solid one to be sure but operating on furry values.
I mean the game is called "Changed" not "Unchanged" or "Same" is it really that surprising?
The music composer shizi really makes amazing osts
God I'll just make a fanart of Puro because holy sh*t he deserves it, the devs really putted a good personality and effort on him. Such a good companion and friend!

Player: **Chooses to leave**
Puro: **S P I N S**
Human walks outside for a while, but then finds it hard to keep going.
Puro: Human! You're tired! You should rest.
Puro props up Human on the rock with him.
But the virus finally caught up with Human...
Human closes his eyes...
But Human doesn't wake up.
(The scary part is that this might have actually been the case in that first ending. The human dialogue just falls off at the end, and there's barely enough ambiguity for this to happen.)
When Puro realizes Human isn't waking up, he tries to transfur Human to keep him safe... it doesn't work... hosts need to be living...
And then Puro is holding a hole in his life.
The human is g-___.
He can't come to terms with it.
He can't let it be true.
All the things they'd been through...
Was it worth noth-___?
No, Human is-... ... wa-...

Puro won't ever forget his best friend.
Puro won't forget that Human's last memory was a happy one.
the steam achievement makes the death for the leave ending very unambiguous.
that...is honestly pretty sad
29:59: puro speen
Ive said it before but even with the fetishy deaths, this game is pretty great ,very cool and interesting history and good but hard puzzles. And i won't lie,the designs of the characters are nice and some are cute, puro is adorable and so is his relationship with the human
Huh, i always saw this game as a shitpost and getting ratted on for being a “changed” game but overall the story is neat.
what a sweet ending the true ending was! thank you for taking the time to play through this game and take it seriously without constantly ragging on the weird furry fetish stuff.
They are all ready
I actually agree with you on this one, the dialogue is pretty linear for the last 2 episodes. Not to mention it "appeals" to the reader.
*and here we are*
I agree it was kinda forced, but Puro kinda grew on me when he threw MC
What Manly played: CHANGED
What I expected: "Stop injecting your horrible fetishes into this game."
What I got: "K was right and did nothing wrong.
I genuinely just finished the last episode and thought I was gonna go to bed. Nope! I gotta finish this!
"I REJECT MY HUMANITY, PURO!"
In all seriousness, the true end doesn't sound bad? Some people are implying so, but you were going to die because of the virus, and even if you didn't consider the possibility, probably just wild animals
True end gets you a strong body (protag was quite weak) and immunity to the virus, along with a body for Puro, all you sacrifice is your physical appearance
You still have your humanity, and I think that's the core philosophical question here, what makes a human (In the metaphysical sense)? Their physical appearance? Biology? Or their mind and memories?
To me, even Puro is undeniably human
Main character would also probably die from the fact that they don't have warm clothes and shoes, you won't get very far living outside wearing nothing but a pair of shorts (probably very thin ones at that).
Yeah, I agree here. Surviving alone without any gear isn't going to be possible for an ordinary human
What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets!
