Influnza Virus فايروس الانفلونزا

Influenza, commonly referred to as the flu, is an infectious disease caused by RNA viruses of the family Orthomyxoviridae (the influenza viruses), that affects birds and mammals
The most common symptoms of the disease are chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness/fatigue and general discomfort
Although it is often confused with other influenza-like illnesses.
Types of virus
Structure of the influenza virion. The hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) proteins on the envelope surface of the viruses. The viral genome is negative polar RNAs that coils inside the particle and bound to Ribonuclear Proteins (RNPs).
In virus classification influenza viruses are RNA viruses that make up three genera of the family Orthomyxoviridae
Influenzavirus A
Influenzavirus B
Influenzavirus C
