If harden “getting in his bag” is dropping 21 points and not taking a single shot for the first 12 minutes of the game, then the sixers have no chance in the playoffs.
Darryl Morey deserves a lot of credit for putting this team together. He was the one who saw the potential in Maxey and was smart enough to hold on to Simmons until Harden was available for trade. If Elton Brand or Bryan Colangelo was still calling the shots, neither one would have been smart enough to draft Maxey and probably would have given up Simmons for a few picks and a bunch of scrubs.
