Horseshoe Bend | A must do after viewing it from the top

- We have visited Horseshoe Bend from the overlook and of course it's beautiful, but we saw people floating in the river below and thought "Hey, that looks cool!"
If you're looking for something unique and less touristy than the Horseshoe Bend overlook, this is it. We booked a backhaul services which provided kayaks or paddle boards and a 10 mile boat ride of the river.
Once you reach Petroglyph beach, you can enjoy a several hour float/paddle all the way back to your parked car.
It's hot outside, the water is freezing, and every turn offers more beautiful views of the canyon around you.

Just when you thought seeing it from above was amazing, floating the river is spectacular. Also, seeing wild animals adds to the amazement
Yeah, I think still worth seeing top initially to get a perspective on the horseshoe part, but loved the river float more for sure!
