Percy gave more importance to his Job which he only had or a few months than his family which were with him since he was born. He did not even bother to visit his father when he was fighting for his life. He even wanted his family to apologise to him when it was him who did all the bad stuff. I wouldn't sympathise someone like him. Atleast, he changed his prideful behavior.

While reading the books, he was one of the few characters I felt bad for when he was ridiculed/something bad happened to him. He was a sort of guiding comfort character throughout the books and whenever he'd come up it was 'Look, there's Percy! How's that report on kettle thickness going?' He's rule-abiding, safety-focused and all in all a character I for one see aspects of myself in, and on the other hand find plain charming and quite important in a day-to-day environment. So sad he gets so little screen time.

I really like Percy, he was a cool guy tbh, like any other. He was so pompous about him being prefect and head boy because he was also overshadowed by charlie and bill who were both prefects and head boy before him. So for the family it wasn't a surprise that's why he kept bragging about it because he was proud of himself (maybe a bit too proud?) But he's just like any other students I remember reading in the books (PoA) Penny and Percy had a bet 10 galleons of who would win the quidditch cup, penny voted for slytherin and of course percy voted for gryffindor, he even told Harry one time to tell him to try his best to win the quidditch cup cause he doesnt have 10 galleons at all lmao. When gryffindor won even percy was shouting and jumping up and down (as written in the book, 'All dignity forgotten) and even strode off to find penny right after he congratulated gryffindor. He actually was the only one to care about ginny and comfort her in CoS, he also was so relieved to see ron pulled out the water in GoF that he hugged him so tightly. (I was really mad at him for leaving the burrow I was literally shouting to my books lol) but he made up and went back to fight for Hogwarts nevertheless, imagine how heartbroken he was when he saw how Fred died, and he probably was thinking that it should have been him who died instead of Fred. But atleast he made Fred's wish to come true, to die with a smile on his face. One last laugh of Fred came from Percy. I love how in the scene where Percy is taking the students to their dorms the *_Slytherins_* are actually getting a move on and doing what they're supposed to be doing, whereas the *_Gryffindors_* are slacking and taking their _sweet ass time_ looking at the _scenery._ Just another reason why Slytherin and Ravenclaw are the best houses. I was crying when Percy comes back to his family, friends, school to fight against Voldemort and his followers. Just think, there would be someone who is just lile Percy, they have false believes, but in the end, they come back to the right track. We don't know how much they have to satisfy to be able to give out that final decision. I don't care what he did, I care what he finally becomes and he is a good person. I wish the movie could show it.

Ngl I relate to Percy to an unreal extent. He's been my favourite character from HP ever since I first read the books (I was eleven or something, and Lupin is a close second). Anyone I've ever told this irl is so bewildered by that though haha

Another reason why I want a Harry Potter tv series: I NEED more Percy! He's such an interesting character and I hate that he was basically ignored after the 3rd movie.
he wasnt ignored, he graduated from Hogwarts and worked with fudge and the ministe of magic craving for power. he and the ministey denied voldermort returning and in the 5th movie helped Umbridgr bust harry and dumbledores army. he came back to normal to help his family fight the death eaters in the last movie
Oh God yes. Ah TV series to do it exactly like the book would be great. Not sure if I would be able to accept other actors though. Snape's actor is burned in my mind as Snape no other actor can change that.

The twins gossip, are sarcastic, taunt people, and ron is more pompous than percy ever was.
Percy was proud of his achievements, but Ron literally acted like he was better than everyone (save hermione) with no merit to it.
Ginny also had a habit of putting others down with an air of superiority. Like when she introduced Luna as Looney Lovegood, and called fleur a cow.

I love how in the scene where Percy is taking the students to their dorms the *_Slytherins_* are actually getting a move on and doing what they're supposed to be doing, whereas the *_Gryffindors_* are slacking and taking their _sweet ass time_ looking at the _scenery._ Just another reason why Slytherin and Ravenclaw are the best houses.
Or maybe they're all just scared of Snape...

I was crying when Percy comes back to his family, friends, school to fight against Voldemort and his followers. Just think, there would be someone who is just lile Percy, they have false believes, but in the end, they come back to the right track. We don't know how much they have to satisfy to be able to give out that final decision. I don't care what he did, I care what he finally becomes and he is a good person. I wish the movie could show it.

Percy is actually one of my favorites. Especially when he first left his familiy behind and then fighting with them in the end. He also hold his dead brother Fred in his arms directly after the kill.
