i feel like you could edit out the section between 5:25 and 7:15. Just drop the kick and the DN groove while youre still in the airy bit from the moog and it will make a bigger impact. It feels like youre building and then losing momentum in that section.
Thanks for the feedback and good call actually. From that high energy level at around 5 mins it will be hard to drop but agree that it could have been smoother. For the live set tomorrow I will actually leave the whole intro out and go immediately in with a full groove - want the people to dance.

Thank you! Yeah I used reverb, delay and a shimmer chain all from Ableton stock plugins on the return channels

Thanks so much Andrew, it’s great to hear that you dig the set so much! 🙏🏻 I think it took me about 3 hours to put it together as a lot of the songs and transitions were already there. But then I like to play the set several times to further refine it and come up with ideas for transitions. So it’s really hard to say. :) but this last shaping the transitions process I really love about preparing live sets!

Just discovered your channel. I'm learning a lot. I'm planning to buy ableton live 11. I have to decide on which version pick. Can you tell which one are you using or which should I choose between Standard and Suite. I'll be using it more for vocals, effects and transitions, combined with Roland MC707, Roland TR8s and Roland MX1 as hardware, also RC505.
Hey Jean, welcome to the channel and the community! For what you are describing the standard option probably works best. I’ve started with that as well and then just upgraded further down the line. It already has some great devices in it + no limitations in tracks per project.

May I ask a technical question? How does this Master Mixer Controls Mapping (visible in 42:09 ) works? I thought that macros are only working within a rack - but this rack seems to be empty?
Ok. Maybe it isn’t empty but do you control send effects outside the rack? How?
Hey Criamon, you’re right it’s not empty, I’m just hiding the devices to keep the interface clean. It contains multiple instances of Map8 and MultiMap, two amazing MIDI devices that let you control multiple parameters with one macro (MultiMap) and Map macros to any parameter inside your project (Map8). I will be working on a video soon on how I use them.
Hi Miles, how did you manage the different Moog presets into the live set? How could you change them between the differnt songs part in Ableton? Did u use MIDI program changes between Moog and Ableton or what? Many thanks
