Been waiting for your review. I've had my Tuks for about 5 weeks now and I do love them. They are set up on my PC 6 feet apart perfectly angled towards the middle seating position. Because of that the soundstage is amazing on them during gaming and movies. I have them in a small 10x8 room. They really rock the house lol
Dude, the remote is great once you get used to it. Its heavy and solid. And it has a button to disengage the subwoofer which comes in very handy. Loving the remote! 🙂👍
I got these for my dad. The subwoofer is pretty cool too for a desk setup. I mean, depends on your expectations but these are great. You should try to get your hands on some Ascend Acoustics Sierra Towers with the RAAL ribbons. The vocals are so realistic it's almost startling.
These stands are super easy to fill...all you need to do is plug the hole at the base plate. I patched the hole on the outside of the plate with Gorilla tape then I stuffed a piece of insulation down the upright and filled them with kitty litter...also used blue locktite on all the bolts...ROCK SOLID.
how would these KANTO TUKS be for using as TV speakers with the s8 subwoofer......plus how do you hook up to a TV ? is it by optical and will it sound good ?...thx
You need a couple of sheets of blue tack between the stand and the speaker then you don't need to feel the stands either that's the best thing try that
Thank you for this video. I’m interested in these speakers and I would like to know if you connected them via USB and if you use high definition services like Tidal or Qobuz. Does this digital to analog converter make a big difference. How are your speakers connected to you audio source? Thank you in advance and best regards.
Thanks for the detailed review! I’ve been considering these for some stereo music in my front living room, along with the KEF LSX. Tough decision! Given your appreciation for the AMT tweeters, check out Goldenear if you can. Pretty amazing speakers.
If you like air motion tweeters check out the Legacy Signature SE with dual amts and dual 10 inch woofers and 7 inch silver graphite mids in a wide range of wood veneers s in 105 lb sealed cabinet.

Hey youthman, I noticed you have Klipch RP-8060FA's and a RP-504C. I have those too. Just out of curiosity, what did you set the crossovers to? I'm also using RP-5000F's for rear speakers and a SPL-100 sub in a 5.1.2 setup. @@ryanlam1635 I ended up getting the Tuks and love them. I actually tried the Vanatoos, as well, and listened to them side by side in a sort of A-B set up on my desktop. I thought they both sounded great. I can't remember exactly how the Vanatoos were different or what made me prefer the Tuks, but it was a close call and I liked them both.
Youthman, was wondering if you wanted to do a virtual tour/review of my home theater its super budget but done nicely and i think its a perfect example to show people what they can do for a few grand canadian including the tv (82") and the couch its a atmos set up with subs and bass shakers

do you think adding a kanto SUB8 will benefit more in music / movie ?
The new KEF KC62 sub looks like a match made in heaven for these (aesthetically).
I just checked out the KEF KC62 sub and you're right, it really looks like it was designed to go with the Kanto Tuk's
Love these speakers in my bedroom with a subwoofer. Great sound stage and beautiful sounding with music and movies!

I've had the Kanto YU6's for about a week but felt like I was missing out so the TUK's are coming tomorrow.
I'm ditching my 5 year old Samsung sound bar, bringing my Kanto YU4 over there, then getting the TUK's for my office audio system.
I have the kanto yu6, love them, so many inputs, great value
Mine arrive tomorrow - Absolutely stoked!!
Congrats!

did you connect these to the TV? what connection did you use? did you connect to a blue ray player?
Happy new year Michael!!! Keep going with awesome videos and have a great year!!!
Thank you
How do they compare in sound to the fives by klipsch?
Great review ordered the TUK today on sale .......adding to guest bedroom /aka workout room!
Excellent review. Thinking the same these would be nice for a desk setup. Keep up the great content
Another good review . Thanks for posting Micheal. Like the Alexa graphic rather than saying it.🙂 Happy New Year to you and your family.

White speakers look nice when they are new, but white plastic tends to turn yellow after a few years even today.
Interesting. I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info.

I enjoyed your review.
The only thing missing in my opinion was how it reacted / sounded with a sub connectioned.
Thank you. I did not test it with a sub as I wanted to review it on it’s own merit.

Enjoyed this video and your review of the Vanatoo Transparent One Encore (T1e). How do you think these compare to the Vanatoos?
Thanks Brock. The Vanatoo that I reviewed sounded best as near field speakers. I prefer the sound of the TUK's.
@@Youthman I'm looking for near field, desktop speakers. When you say you prefer the sound of the Tuks, do you mean for nearfield too, or just in the situation shown in your review? Thanks!

I just read how much they totally destroy klipsch. No contest. Now I need to try them.
Not sure where you read that. The Klipsch Fives perform better in almost every aspect than the TUK’s.
These plus like a SVS SB1000 (since it's so small) would be pretty legit.
Most definitely. A small sealed sub would work great

really debating these - wondering how'd they do paired with a projector image in a larger room.
great review i see you are a klipsch guy how do the 5s compare to the Kanto i have an unrelated question where would i ask it?
double kick drum
Yeah that’s what I was trying to say. I’m not a musician but I know heavy metal drummers often have a double pedal on the kick.
The FIVES have a bit more on the bottom end and ARC so they have a slight upper hand IMO. Vocals and highs on both are excellent. Can’t go wrong with either one of them.
