I LIKE & WATCH YOUR VID'S FOR SOME QUICK INFO - But some serious mis-information here on the 1988 & 1992 cents you talk of > *Please redact and update the info on the 1988 "WIDE A.M." As the specimen variety has nothing to do with the " A & M " on the reverse = Although known as a "wide a.m." variety .. it is actually a 1988 with the reverse of the 1989 die. The focus is on the INITIALS on next to the steps at the South position. The "G" in "FG" is the difference having a "SERIF" on the G pointing inwards .. and also at the bottom pointing outwards. To see the *difference* simply match up a "1989 cent with a 1988 cent" YOU MUST LOOK CLOSE ... the true varieties of the so called "1988 Wide a.m." are very valuable and can fetch 2K and more fore a high graded Specimen. ALSO THE PCGS SPECIMEN OF THE 1992 " In this Video is not a "CLOSE A.M." Variety as is not the specimen that your clip shows from Ebay selling for $95.00 ... A real 1992 "close a.m. is truly a very VALUABLE CENT VARIETY that will fetch THOUSANDS of dollars ( $2 - $25,000.00) depending on the condition and the A.M. in the variety is actually "touching or barley touching" . The buyer of the cent for $95.00 on ebay bought a regular old 1992 cent ... you must watch out for ebay. THANKS !!! - C.L.C. .
Why is a 1988 wide AM penny valuable? I have about 100 1988 pennies and I just started checking them. So far the first 50 are all wide AM's. Is it just the high grades that have value and if so what does the wide AM have to do with anything? By the way, you do great stuff with your videos. Thanks for that. I wish I had your energy. Stay safe.
I have a penny from 2006 and on the back where it says “Of” (that line) The “o” is smaller then the “f”, I’ve never seen this before, and even when i compared it to another coin, It was different, (the coin i compared it to was a 2012 coin) Do you think this is a error?
Mr. killer Panther I have all the date of that Penny! You want to collect? I can sell it to you in a cheap price! Also I have queen Elizabeth ll dated 1950's 60's 70's
I have a 2000 D penny with zeros that are different sizes in the mint date, easy to see unmagnified. One normal size 0 and the final two are at least 23 percent larger. Also have penny with 2 A s at the end of america.. United States of Americaa
Hey partner, odd 1988 penny. Wide AM, also the last 8 on the date is “broken”. It looks as a bad strike. I have pictures, and would love to discuss it with you. Please let me know how to better get a hold of you.
Hey bro, every pic of an '88 LMC i can find shows a wide AM (i.e. PCGS)....... I'm not questioning; actually wondering what I'm overlooking?!?! I mean, u r the gold standard, n if you know what I can't see then plz let me know
Yeah I'm sure if Justin sees this he'll figure it out n let us know one way or another...... some of those AM error pennies r the result of a proof die accidentally being used; n the '88 had that but I thought it was actually the FG initials that were different......IDK!!!!
So my grandpa gavve me a huge ar of coins to go through and i swear to god I have all 4 state quarters that were made with the experimental alloy, tons of pennies with this, tons of pennies that look almost fake like the dark brown etc. Basically i sworted through it all going through your videos but i still have a small sandwich baggie of coins that the internet and your videos deem rare. but now what? how do I get them tested for sure safely and securely? are there testers out there that are scams? i feel lik i am so behind!
I cant really tell if my pennies have a wide am or a close am because the letters or so small. And sadly i cant find a magnefiying glass or my microscope. 😶
