Gents I got myself a BFR. It doesn’t appear to have a push pull knob. Are the active pickups always on if a battery is in?

Hi Jonathan, congrats! On EMG equipped Lukes there is no push/pull pot. The pickups are only "on" if your guitar cable is plugged in. So keep the cable out when not playing!
