He was such a blessing. I still laugh non stop when I watch Johnny Carson reruns with Robin on the show. I laugh cry! I make a point of finding something Robin was in to watch when I feel depression creeping in. I am so thankful that Robin shared his humor with us.
You wrote that beautifully and I couldn't agree more!! At least we have a fantastic catalog of film, stand-up, and interviews that are also a treasure and a way to celebrate this incredible man. I believe he is somewhere smiling and at peace.
I remember feeling so shocked and realized I was crying as I listened to the news. His movies literally saved my life when I was sick and far from home. I looked forward to every evening a movie of his was on. May he be at peace or in Neverland always on the next adventure. I love you and thank you for everything. ❤
I literally grew up watching Mr. Williams. I remember the episode of Happy Days and him acting with Ron Howard and laughing hysterically when he put his head in the chair cushion as a means of "sitting down". I have watched every single HBO special he ever did(his golf skit is still the best one he ever did) and have seen all of his movies from Popeye(watched it as a double feature with Airplane!) To One Hour Photo and everything in between. As much as I love his comedic roles, his acting in drama is completely underrated and did not get enough flowers for this. I remember the news hitting Twitter that he had passed and I was devastated about it. One of the best comedic talents and a generally good man left this world and it became a little darker because of it. We all lost a true treasure in Robin Williams when he left us and it has not been right since. I hope his children have been able to find some sort of acceptance of their father's passing and I hope they know that they do not grieve alone. May he rest in eternal peace and light. Thank you, Mr. Williams for making the world funnier while you were in it.
He will be forever Missed. My daughter and I bonded over many hours of Aladdin and now my Granddaughter has shared many movies nights with us watching Aladdin, Jumanji and Mrs. Doubtfire. When Good Will Hunting is on tv I stop sit and watch EVERY TIME.😢
When Robin Williams premiered in "Mork and Mindy" I knew he would be a star! I loved his comedic timing so very much. I cried for a week after his passing 😢 I felt like he was a personal friend. Whenever I'm down I watch him in Alladin. It always makes me feel better. I truly loved him and his gift.
It should have been noted that Robin was the one that quietly paid his life long friend Christopher Reeves (Superman) hospital bills. He visited Reeves trying to keep up his morale and took Reeve's son Matthew under his wing. Robin also paid for the renovation of Reeves house to accommodate him after being released from rehab and upon Reeves passing, he also paid for all funeral expenses. The one story that had me in stitches was when Robin met Koko, the sign language gorilla. Robin was out of his element not knowing how to sign, but was patient and trusting of Koko. A bit into the meeting, Koko opened Robin's shirt and saw his extremely hairy chest and signed that she wanted to "mate" with Robin! He didn't know how to act, what to do or what to say! The two, Robin and Koko wrapped up their visit and went on their way. When Koko was informed of Robin's death, she signed "Sad, Cry and Friend" as she hugged his picture. 😭 💔
This is the one celebrity passing that still HURTS like it just happened yesterday….I grew up watching Mork and Mindy and I LOVED LOVED LOVED Robin Williams ever since….It still makes me SO SAD to think about what the world lost when we lost him 💔😢💔💔💔 THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ROBIN WILLIAMS ! He was a true LEGEND in his own lifetime and he is still so missed….RIP ROBIN ❤️ I know wherever you are, you’re the life of the party !!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
No, his wife did NOT discover Robin’s body. It was his personal assistant who did. Check any news reports of the time. She is the one who called 911. His wife was not even there at the time.
I saw an interview with Ron Howard; he spoke of when Robin came onto the Happy Day's set. He came on full energy and firing out the jokes. They had no idea what he was up too and wonder if a big mistake had been made. But he won them over.
What a talent! Genius is hard to cope with. Having a brain that moves at the speed of light with no on/off switch must be utterly exhausting. His genius lives on in his family and his work. Rip
This was an excellent story! I have watched anything and everything Robin Williams has been on or in. He was an amazing comic as well as amazing dramatic actor. RIP Robin Williams ❤
Susan did not find Robin, their housekeeper did. She phoned Susan who was driving and had to manage California morning Bay Area Bridge traffic while out of her mind with grief screaming NO ROBIN NO! I stand firm in saying that Robin did not commit suicide, his Lewy Body Dementia damaged brain with its frightening hallucinations murdered him. Like many who suffer from serious failing health that has no real help like certain cancers and worsening chronic pain, killing the body - the very source, is the only true means of escape. They do not want to die, do not want to leave life itself, but they are desperate to end the horrific suffering. If you truly love another, you will care to understand and love them still. In truth death remains the only escape from that hateful type of dementia that can only be diagnosed for certain at autopsy. It is an evil dementia! I believe Robin's soul is flying free in the peace and glory of Heaven because he suffered hell on Earth, there was no where else for him but to rise. Thank you Robin for all you left behind that sees others through their own moments of hell. I myself have leaned on you for many tragic reasons and decades. We Love You Still And Always
You put that very well . Thank you for sharing such a sensitive account of what Robin was facing . I agree with you ; he didn’t kill himself . He was killed by the dementia .
I have been a huge fan since I was 3 or 4 ever since he came to earth as Mork from Ork, and now my children ever since they were little watch everything that I watched including Mork And Mindy as a matter of fact they all said nana nunu cause they couldn't quite say Nanu Nanu
I liked "hook" i use to watch it every year during christmas in the dark with only the christmas lights.after my ex boyfriend cheated on me watching the movie was therapeutic

He was not liked in the circle of comics. He would steal younger comics material . He was not that clever or talented. He had one act he did over and over He was not a nice man, horrible mean temper .
@FallenAngel9979 I was going by what other comics and professionals would say about him. Of course, the public liked him - they didn't know the truth. Google the information. Comics would cinge when he saw their stand-up . He was not original. Watch his interviews, and he did the same stuff over and over. "Martha Graham, Madonna." Blah blah . I will say his dramatic was so much better.
You really couldn't Google how to correctly pronounce Château Marmont, Marmont is said with a french treatment, the T isn't really pronounced, so amateur hour and uncouth

I was lucky enough to get to see him do standup in person. He was amazing. RIP.
He was so utterly unique, and he left us far too soon. He really was one of the greats, what a supreme talent. RIP Robin. We miss you.
Unfortunately our world punishes unique.
You wrote that beautifully and I couldn't agree more!! At least we have a fantastic catalog of film, stand-up, and interviews that are also a treasure and a way to celebrate this incredible man. I believe he is somewhere smiling and at peace.
What a story. I suffer with Lewey Body dementia. He has given us a face. What an actor
He brought us such joy. Thank you Robin.
The world is a lesser place without you Robin. 🥺💔✌️
A wonderful tribute to a wonderful man💚
So odd, someone that made me feel so happy, I often feel sad now when I see him.
There will never be anyone like Robin again. A true legend.
Robin is one of the greatest comedians of all time a unique talent and a awesome spirit. Much Love RIP.
Robin gave all of us the gift of love, laughter and understanding. I wish that we had been able to reach out to him and help him.

Thank you for creating and sharing this mini documentary on a truly great man. I appreciate your shining a light on his very sad demise.
His life shows us that having everything isn't the big deal that we think, the simple life is more appealing because with it comes simple problems.
No, his wife did NOT discover Robin’s body. It was his personal assistant who did. Check any news reports of the time. She is the one who called 911. His wife was not even there at the time.

He was so beyond talented. RIP! You didn’t mention my two fav movies of his: Patch Adams & What dreams may come. 🤷🏻♀️
We will remember him as he was not as what he would have been. I do believe that is one reason why he took his life.
You really do great bios! I truly enjoy this channel. Thank you.
First time I saw Robin Williams was in Happy Days. Then on to Work and Mindy! Loved his rainbow suspenders. He was one of a kind for sure.
I loved him in bicentennial man. That film made me laugh, but also cry so much...
This was an excellent story! I have watched anything and everything Robin Williams has been on or in. He was an amazing comic as well as amazing dramatic actor. RIP Robin Williams ❤
Those you think are dead, are not. And those you think are alive are dead.

Dead Poets Society is up there as one of the best films ever made.
Thank you, Sir. ✌️
I didn't believe that Robin could ever be serious until he did The Awakenings.
Patch Adams and Dead Poets Society for me.
I have been a huge fan since I was 3 or 4 ever since he came to earth as Mork from Ork, and now my children ever since they were little watch everything that I watched including Mork And Mindy as a matter of fact they all said nana nunu cause they couldn't quite say Nanu Nanu
I love Robin Williams
I loved his movies, even popeye.

Robin William first premiered in Happy Days as the character of Mork. Then he got his show in Mork and Mindy. Get your information right.
😢
I saw the news and didn't believe it. Like it didn't even register as real until somebody else said it aloud. Then it sunk in...
No seriously tho
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
He was also a prolific joke thief
I just really like him in the movie Patch Adams. Who knew there was such warm depth. Whe

Yeah, that's a good example of why I didn't care for RW. I mean, that's funny? smh
If his buddy was Spielberg, all I can say is yikes.
I never saw any talent just a scary, crazy person.
He not tragedy following plans
He was not liked in the circle of comics. He would steal younger comics material .
He was not that clever or talented. He had one act he did over and over
He was not a nice man, horrible mean temper .
Yet he was so loved by millions. Says more than your nasty comment.

get a life, make your own video.
Do u not have a supervisor who checks your pronunciation?!
“ supervisor”?? What is this a grocery store? Can you pronounce every word in every language correctly?! Good for you!
@@FallenAngel9979 ditto, these angry/anal people are sickening,
