    oh wow, this is just perfect!
    edit: id prefer this vs a flappy RTT, just wish the XL was contoured around the wheel wells. Just went into thier website and the XL is perfect for a couple but my car is 52 inches wide at the tailgate but 43 between the wheel wells, which are 17in high!. notice they sell exped pads too, so something like the exped auto is perfect!

    Im considering travel nursing, and this frame in the double size appears to be a good answer to a light weight, portable bed frame.
    I can use it for regular apartment living as well as car camping.
    Makes it easy to move around from place to place while also having the comfort of a double sized bed.
    Im torn between the double and the double XL though.
    And, the price makes me go 😮

    I think one of my favorite parts is the adjustable length part of this invention.
    I am 5'1", and having something I can adjust to my height is great!
    I've run into lots of sleeping items be unnecessarily long: 83/84 inches long is upsetting because they take up unnecessary space i could use for other things.
    I understand lots of people are tall, but not everyone is.
    Know what i mean?

      Absolutely! Great point. At your size you would be giving up valuable space. Now you don’t have to. Great point.

    This thing looks very cool and quality. I could see myself taking it out or carrying it with me for tent camping as well. However as with most prodcuts in this space they are unafforadable. You can get some pretty decent rooftop tents for about 1000 dollars. Not to mention I was a little spicy when you said $150 dollars for a cot like that isn't a lot of money too. Maybe he will have a black friday sale.

    Nice video! What is the measurement for the highest setting for sliding gear underneath?

      Thank you so much. I’m pretty sure there is 14.5” of storage under the platform.

    The metal bar in the middle might be a bit Harsh on the back without a thick mattress pad. It looks very well made. It would be great.if the middle bar swooped down in the middle.

      Yea the entire system is made to be used with a pad of some sort. It would be murder on the back for sure.

      Remember that you are supported by the black fabric topper which has oval aluminum tubing slats and not just the three cross bars from the frame ;)

    Do they have a 2 person system? 200 series?

    • @AdventureBuilt
      @AdventureBuilt  7 місяців тому

      Yea I should have covered that better. They do have 3 different sizes for the platforms. Got you covered for the 200!!!!

    light weight but it needs a way to be lock down with the d rings in suv when off roading, otherwise it will be rattling and bouncing up and down on gnarly rocky dirt roads.

      The cross bars are gonna make things complicated for mattress selection. Not being a pessimists I’m not feeling anything about this.

      @@TravelinCatfish We recommend a foam+air type mattress that's roughly 3" thick. Works great! And they are plentiful nowadays

    Ok, what shoes are those??

    • @AdventureBuilt
      @AdventureBuilt  7 місяців тому

      They are an Amazon find I got for the rain. The brand is BassDash. Let me know if you can’t find them and I’ll put a link in the video description. They are really comfortable and slip on and off easy.

    How's that bar directly in your back? Lol

    • @PacificAdventureWorks
      @PacificAdventureWorks 7 місяців тому +1

      That's just one of the three cross bars for the frame- the fabric topper is fully supported by 1x2" aluminum slats

      Haha. Don’t feel anything with a nice pad underneath!
