This man is simply from another planet now claiming that if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have had the takeover. Some of the stuff this man has come out with simply beggars belief!!

In December 2020 we went to a championship side in Brentford for a quarter final & played our strongest side they played their reserve side and embarrassed us … the next day there was banners up outside the training ground telling him to go but he didn’t care less as he wasn’t going to walk away without his payoff … the day he left the club he instantly played the victim card saying fans called fat and a useless cabbage head.. he’s the most insincere man in football & absolutely hopeless at managing a football team .. his flaw is that he never sees his failures and always blames someone else
He is Deluded. Every Toon fan knows it. The team under Howe, the performances, the togetherness, the transformation and the 11th place finish proves we were right.
Now other fans know it too
We would now be in the Championship if Bruce had stayed any longer. The difference in the players was stark after he left. All of a sudden Kraft, Joelinton, Fraser and Schar moved up a number of levels. The results came, the atmosphere changed and the place was buzzing again. Bruce should carry on with destroying West Brom and stop trying to rewrite history about his spell at Newcastle.

To be honest, Mike Ashley played a blinder when he appointed Bruce. It's a real achievement to find a manager so bad, so hated by the Toon fans that he acted as a lighting rod for MA. Well... Happy Times ahead for Newcastle fans I think and god knows you deserve a bit of joy.

Steve Bruce should pay half of his severance to Rafa Benitez. If not for Rafa, Newcastle wouldn't have survived one season in the EPL under Bruce.

Bruce is using Newcastle to deflect against the crap job he has done WBA.
Took over West Brom in the Play-Offs in the Championship, sacked with them in the relegation zone.
Couldn't agree more if I tried. He played players out of position week after week, he played players who were injured, and the ones who he did play were nowhere near match fit. How he's managed to get any other job in football is shocking and I look forward to hearing of his sacking sometime around late August when he fails again with West Brom.
I do disagree with one thing you said Paul, 1000 games for such a awful manager is some achievement. Possibly one of the most amazing achievements in football history.
An achievement people are daft enough to appoint him a manager of their club. I doubt even Whitley Bay would settle for this arse of a coach.
I'd go so far as to suggest the Inland Revenue could pull him in for fraud over the £8M payoff. If anything, he owes the people of Newcastle compensation for the last couple of years.......

I was totally shocked when Bruce became Newcastle United Manager, I'd heard so many supporters from other clubs taking the Micky out of his management skills, I remember seeing Steve Bruce as manager of Hull City dancing around like a big over weight Gorilla after Hull scored against Newcastle, it was almost like he enjoyed beating his home town team, if that had been me I would have had done my job as Hull City Manager but it would have hurt me as someone from Newcastle, I wouldn't have jumped round like an idiot, it was an insult to the City he was born in, he has never been a good Manager or he would have been employed by one of the top six clubs, he shows no loyalty to any of the clubs he has been employe by, I feel sorry for West Brom supporters, he'll probably walk out on you if he gets a better offer from a Premiership Club who are desperate.

LOL!!! Let it rip 'tater chip!! A politician (and not a very good one at that!) springs to mind, with deflection, sleight of hand and plain old BS from SB. He's got some self belief that's for sure. Henry Winter should give this man a call and tell him to STFU! Ashley was as much of the problem, but Bruce took the money and the payoff and the results over 2 and a 1/3 seasons were plain to see. A long time ago I used to think he was an honorable man.

For a man who is in his early 60(s), he acts like a teenager who is just coming into the game. Yes, they would have bought us if we were in the Championship as they bought us when we were in a massive relegation battle. I have never heard Steve ever in his management career ever say. I am sorry, It was my fault. He always used blame deflection tactics which only make things worse as it never solves/eradicates the problem. This applies to all walks of life, not just football management.
The man is in denial. he cannot accept that he is not a good manager. As for the stick from Newcastle fans being the reason why he couldn't retire, well Steve, we didn't start the cabbage meme, that was the Aston Villa fans, did the stick they gave you make you want to call it a day. To end off on. Look at the 1000 games in management statistic. From those games, we can see that he is an inept manager both tactically and has poor man-management skills. He never learned from his mistakes and kept doing the same thing all the time. He now goes down as a 100% certified clown of football.
