  • One Minute Budapest is a series of short interviews of expats who tell their stories why they ended up in Hungary. It is an opportunity for each to share a little bit about themselves in a minute or less, although it tends to go a little more than that.
Daniel recently moved temporarily to Hungary with his wife Melinda to explore the growing film industry in Budapest after Origo Studios and Netflix picked up interest in making a TV series based on his book, The Nostradamus Mission". However there are challenges that comes with the territory to fund the project due to the current volatile situation with Ukraine and Russia which he explains here.
Despite the challenges he faces, he gives us a glimpse of his life and what he looks forward to in Europe and as a screenwriter in Budapest. He gives us his insight to what it has been like so far to live in Hungary and the differences that give us a unique perspective when we plant our flag here.

It was a lot of fun. Wish I had mentioned the many greatly popular thermal baths that have many health benefits, and the over 80 geothermal springs carved out hundreds of deep underground caves, making Budapest home to the largest collection of thermal caves in the world.
