- Welcome to a new "Remote - Property TOUR" here on my channel.
Puszta / Hungary
This time a video from summer 2019. At that time I was already considering to start a UA-cam channel but havent found the time for it. I was living on a small farm, so called Tanya in Hungary. For a while together with Amber (the owner of the farm) and a even a longer period ot time while she was abroad. It was just me and the dogs taking care of that place and enjoying hungarian nature and living remotely without neighbours while the COVID-Lockdown.
I have much more video material about that place which I could show you in a reaction video. Let me know in the comments when you are interested in that!
Enjoy & STAY TUNED!

Wonderful place. I lived a little the same in the northern part of Sweden. No neighbors, Just silence. Now I have lived for 7 years in Hungary in a small village with neighbors everywhere. It's something like this I would love to find. I love Hungary, but I miss the silence and the freedom you have with no neighbors near.
Yeah, that's a medlar tree, and I would say to wait until the first frost, so late November to eat the fruits. You gotta kinda squeeze them out of their skin. They're yummy. Like quince butter.
Absolutely bloomin' beautiful. What a lovely place. Subscribed instantly and a thumbs up.
Good luck young lady, it is a nice whole life project! But you will find you inner calmness
I herd people moving to Hungary from Western Europe and North America because is very safe and beautiful .
Good food ,excellent wine and very nice people
hungary a wonderful country
It was.
Serbus boytesh. Greetings from Baku. Hungary has always been with us. What is the name of the settlement you live in? I was a soldier in Polgardi for two years. I really liked it there. Go whenever you want
Im glad you're here in Hungary! Pretty sure you're gonna enjoy it!
Beautiful lot of land.. And all the fruit you can pick.
About the medlar bush and it's fruits, the fruits needs bletting, which makes it very mushy amd of course very much enjoyable (excerpt from wikipedia):
' Chemically speaking, bletting brings about an increase in sugars and a decrease in the acids and tannins that make the unripe fruit astringent.
Ripe medlars, for example, are taken from the tree, placed somewhere cool, and allowed to further ripen for several weeks. In Trees and Shrubs, horticulturist F. A. Bush wrote about medlars that "if the fruit is wanted it should be left on the tree until late October and stored until it appears in the first stages of decay; then it is ready for eating. More often the fruit is used for making jelly." Ideally, the fruit should be harvested from the tree immediately following a hard frost, which starts the bletting process by breaking down cell walls and speeding softening.
Once the process is complete, the medlar flesh will have broken down enough that it can be spooned out of the skin. The taste of the sticky, mushy substance has been compared to sweet dates and dry applesauce, with a hint of cinnamon. In Notes on a Cellar-Book, the great English oenophile George Saintsbury called bletted medlars the "ideal fruit to accompany wine". '
Sok sikert !!
It's a good starter place for a healthy and peaceful life in the nature, grat for that. After a year I would see the place now gladly.
Note: if the dogs accept cat I suggest to get at least one regular cat because of the mouses. 😉

Me and my family moved to Hungary three years ago, how you getting on?
Yes I'd really like to know too as I'm wanting to do the same thing as her and want advice. Hungarian is the most difficult language in the world. How I'll manage I don't know. I must be slightly mad, but its my dream!

Really impressive. How can we contact you?
Wohin können Sie ihm folgen? Danke für das Video
Could you recommend a real estate agent to help find a similar property?
wow,
Hello
I love you
I want to talk to Tanya as I am doing the same thing in Hungary right now and I don't even speak the language HELP! How do I get tradesmen to understand me?
Lots of younger Hungarians (up to maybe younger gen X)understand English, it's just that we appreciate it more if someone learns the language.
Maybe not as much expected in the countryside.
Tanya in this context is the word for a village farm or property, the description says she is called Amber. :D
I find the best way to learn a language is from media but especially if you settle closer to a big city next to the countryside such as Győr or Debrecen (both often associated with their universities)you will probably find a tutor easily enough.
Edit.:Almost forgot Szeged, also one of the famous university cities.
Google translate on your phone, I'm considering moving there myself and that's all I can think to use to communicate.
You pointing at things and show on your fingers how much you want.
Does she have an UA-cam channel or something?
Hi can you recommend an Estate Agent, where we could get a property like you’re for a good price thanks ?
Mejor ve a la capital, porque el campo no es lo tuyo señorita.
For sale??
Wieviel kostet es bitte?
schwätzt sie ungarisch?
Ja ne ist klar :D
Ja, sie hat ein Wortbildungssuffix vergessen. :D
