Just something to note. United States before they joined WW2 had an army that was even weaker that Portugal's and they were ranked 19th in military powers at the time.

just wanted to point out 2 things
portugal was fascist at the time and held relations with both the allies and the axis, and it was top priority for the portuguese leader at the time to maintain a policy of absolute neutrality in order to retain the support of the people

it wasn't a fascist country, it was a military dictatorship. Their ideologies were similar, but not the same. When the war started, Portugal immediately declared neutrality.
I noticed this in the last video too but Japan would definitely go after Indonesia before Russia because they were after oil, and at the time their best bet was to go after the oil in Indonesia. Nowadays, we know that oil is located in Siberia but back then we didn't.
Maybe US guarantee them or something. That'd be my best guess.

Shouldn't Indonesia be with the Axis? It was a Dutch colony and since Germany annexed the Netherlands, I think it makes sense to just turning it into a German colony.

@@G-Man3.0 Why would they gain independance when Germany took Belgian Congo after annexing Belgium? It doesn't make much sense that Germany takes the colonies from Belgium but gives indepedance to the ones belonging to the Netherlands.

Nice video but in Rl turkey was recovering from Balkan wars and WW1 and for that reason didnt join until allies victory was secured

Man, looks like im cancelling my trip to mongolia then, this mans got a point
Suggestions:
1-The ussr joins the allies:To ensure its security out of extreme fear because they're geographically surrounded by hostile axis aligned countries
2-Japan makes threats against the American Philippines, drastically reducing relations, causing America and the leagelue of freedom to pursue independent south east Asian countries to join
3-With Spain being a pain the the butt for the axis, Germany decides to invade them to prop up a more German aligned government, making other members wary and possibly wanting to leave to pursue ties with the west.
4-Japan, with nowhere else to expand, consults with the axis to attack British colonies in Asia, the rest of the axis refuses but japan attacks anyway, causing a second war between the axis and the allies, greatly angered by this, all axis members withdraw from the war leaving japan on its own.
The last one is a bit far fetched
This is a awesome series but would Germany not have also have the technology because they had spies in the first episode in Switzerland

And even if one were to find the weapons, how would you expect a scientist from the 1940s/50s to be able to recreate things that are from like 2100?

A terrorist attack takes plqcw in paris by the people to free their colonies after a famous person leading them which you pick the name but i would recommend something like jean or paul or papin
And he is like ghandi but more aggressive he leds his men to the capital and succeeds by capturing the french leaders and politicians and forces change to the country and some colonies including ageria who become independent and joins the axis
