To make this pattern you will need a sharp knife, 1,2-1,5mm hole puncher, or pricking irons or awl. Also, you will need a hammer, 2 needles, paper tape and a home printer to print this pdf template. If you want tools you will need also acrylic paint, a swivel knife, and beveler stamp optionally.
Materials you need:
- around 0.25 sq meter of leather (3 sqft):
- prefered about 4-5 oz ( 1.5-2mm) veg tanned leather
- preferable 0.8mm polyester waxed thread
- two short pieces of wire

I made this in shades of brown and have it out all year - it is very cute.
Would you consider doing a half size one? I could print at 50% but I think there would be too many stitching holes and they would be too close together.
