Whew, that takes a ton of patience and good eyesight! My old eyes couldn't do it
mine either, so we need a magnifier lamp, they are wonderful, and higher grades ones are better than cheap ones. Don't be afraid of used ones. A lot of companies have switched to LED for energy savings, so there are some good florescent used ones on the market.

Хорошая демонстрация работы с " топориком", я думаю, ч то "Бивер крафт" пора бы выпускать именно топорики с "гнутой" ручкой, как у "Бонобо вуд" , работать ими гораздо удобнее и безопасней , подумайте. К качеству лезвий нареканий нет - отличная сталь !

Thank you, Felipe. We use basswood as it's softwood, so it's easy to work with this type of wood.

I am a bit baffled as to why you seem to have cut the spoon out of a relatively straight block of wood instead of carving it from a bent branch to get the grain to follow the hollow. The carving looks nice though.
We chose this spoon blank to show some chip carving basics for beginners but you can choose any bent branch for that.
i got a nice lil asmr vibe from this, i wonder what the carving actually sounds like🤔🤔
that vibe died when the music near the end played

This is a very, very different technique and entirely different types of knives that what I have learned. It also seems much, much more likely to get an injury. The angle you are using seems very shallow. Sorry, it is just that it is vastly different.
