Orden Ogans last three albums are arguable 10/10. They are the masters of the epic chorus.
Also, yeah, they are pretty Djenty for power metal.

I first heard this band when Tank the Tech reacted to "Gunman." I know you're not a lyrics guy (which I respect, you have actually made me appreciate bands that have ridiculous lyrics but are great musicians) but they really tell a story. Great reaction, love your willingness to try new bands.
I certainly appreciate well written lyrics, and really want well done lyrics for my own band but yes, I'm much more into the music and feeling emotion in the melody over the lyrics themselves, but that's just me :) Thanks for the kind words, always willing to check music out and generally speaking I think I can recognize talent and skill even if it's not something I'm into. I hate when people are just like "This sucks!" but it's just because they don't like it. I have played music for a long time so I feel I have a good understanding of it, but I'm fussy about what I'll spend my free time listening to :)
@@GoreCoreReactsandReviews I didn't mean to imply you don't think lyrics are important, just that you look beyond them in a song, something I am trying to learn to do. My problem is I zero musical ability so often the nuisances escape me. And thanks again for showing me some bands I would have never tried and now listen to.
