I was working in a bookstore on 7th ave when this one came out. WPLJ had it on their rotation when I heard it playing in the store. Really dug it from 1st listen. Bought the album at Sam Goodies and still have that album today. One of many great music memories from the 70's when in my opinion popular music was at it's peak. It's kinda hard to believe that was close to 50 years ago. Thank you guys for adding your part to that...👍

Great memories of this song. It was 1976. We had been fans of Barnaby Bye. The album popped up on my hall at Stony Brook. A couple kids bought it ( including me). Most folks were listening to the Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, the Who. It really didn’t fit it with those records- but a lot of us caught on. A few months later we were off to the Bottom Line. What a great night. I’ve been singing and playing for folks for 30 years- don’t know why I’ve never covered it. I think it’s time. I’ve been doing All For a Reason for quite a while- another favorite of mine. Thanks for posting this one.
