From 1996 until 2016 our company was a subcontractor for Ampco produce in Youngwood Pa..a potato packing warehouse....we hand unloaded railcars packed with 130,000 lbs of potatoes in 50 lb.boxes or bags, or 100 lb burlap sacks of spuds from the farms in California...it was you a pallet a ride on pallet jack vs. the railcar , on a good day you would have a helper, but many times you didnt..lol...when I was 40, I could do one myself in 5 hrs or less, in my late 50s it wad more like 6.5 hrs....unless you ever attempted that job you have no idea of what work is. Hats off to this guy for fighting after a shift ..he might have been a line worker or supervisor, not a great job but still not as bad as being in the railcars...getting punched by Morrison would be childs play compared to unloading a car in the summer heat with the refrigiration unit shut off..lol. those 3 rounds he fought was the equiv of 4 or 5 months wages in that plant...
238 lbs for Morrison. His highest weight that I recall. But he doesn't look fat. Toia looks like a strong guy, but Morrison was rag-dolling him in round 3. The Duke was a real physical specimen- natural power.
Well we'll never know will we, because let's face it he was blatantly juiced to the gills for much of his career :) That probably contributed to his stamina problem, but it also gave him massive strength, his shoulders are huge. I'm not saying he didn't have natural talent and advantages, but what we see here isn't only his NATURAL power.
@@danyoutube7491 Yeah. Rumor has it that when Morrison started hanging with Sylvester Stallone, he was introduced to 'roids (I speculate that's how Tommy got HIV, too- sharing needles). I do wonder how he passed drug tests as the 1990's progressed. I'm sure they were wise to PED's by then. Going back to the first 1/3 of Morrison's career, he often weighed in at like 210. Buffed but not ripped. He still displayed that power though. It was around the time that Tom Virgets joined his team, that Morrison started looking like a bodybuilder. I'm sure that's because exercise physiologist Virgets improved his training. And, for a guy like Morrison, gaining 10-15 lbs was very doable. So who knows.
@@presence5426 You might be right, I've gone back to early videos when he was just starting out and though not as spectacularly loaded with muscle, he was always notably beefy and always had that power. Maybe I'm being overly cynical.
@@danyoutube7491 I have another theory: HGH. Supposedly Stallone was into that too. A telltale sign is belly bloat. And Morrison had that. See the Michael Bentt fight.
@@presence5426it’s a damn shame because even before Stallone introduced him to roids, when he was like 19-20 years old and not as jacked, he had that insane KO power. He didn’t need to take steroids to become a world champ. But I think he valued being really muscular and good looking and attracting lots of beautiful women over being successful. Hence the reason why he got pec implants and wore eye makeup when he was attempting his “comeback”
I like how everyone thought oh MORRISON'S lost two times of people who just happen to have a better chin then MORRISON that's it....and they talk here like anyone could take him out. People need to chill, TOMMY'S a good fighter and boxer and also has one punch KO punch in his right upper cut and obviously left hook :) Not surprised MORRISON kicked ass here...good fight....R.I.P. TOMMY.
Light on his feet and balanced for a heavy weight, plus strong, good hooks and uppercuts. Great fighter and in excellent physical shape. Tui was too weak for him.
Your right, both of those guys just never looked like they were gonna eat canvas and we shouldn't forget about Foremans 2nd go around as far as chins go.
9:41 I was waiting for Tommy to counter that outside uppercut. With a left hook as good as his, I'd be insulted if someone tried throwing an uppercut from the outside.
Tommy was usually very adept at countering a right uppercut with his left hook. His fights against Art Tucker, Carl Williams, and Razor Ruddock provide some good examples of this, just to name a few.
I agree if your talking about David Tua. Tua had a solid chin and was never down in his career , and incredible power that I don't think Tommy could handle.
Greate heart of Toia, but he looked like a picked win. sad in boxing as he looked way to young in the game. As many in the 80-90's to promote the winners. Morrison never did manage to keep his head... R.I.P
Toia was not much of a puncher. He had a lot of weight down in his legs, which doesn't necessarily help in punching power. David Tua was a huge puncher built like Toia but with more muscularity in his upper body.
That was the slowest I’ve ever seen Tommy move . Where was that lightning quick hook , and everything else 🤷🏼♂️. This was the most boring fight I’ve seen of his
so many fans make out Tommy to be such a great fighter. Sorry, but he just wasn't. He had great power, and good combinations, but bad stamina, a weak chin and not enough dedication to be called 'great'. Even if you consider the Bentt fight a fluke, a great fighter would not go from being a world champion to fighting a journeyman in his next fight. A great fighter would see the loss as a fluke, and wouldn't need a confidence builder like this. But Tommy's mental state wasn't good, another thing you need to be great. For example, if Holyfield didn't have the dedication and self belief that he had, do you think he would have become the legend he is?
The fuck you know bro? My hat goes off to this man I don't see your ass in there straight after a 10 hour shift and you call him a chump. Uppercut yourself.
Yeah but Morrison just got his ass handed to him in one round by Michael bent...so he had to go back to the beginning sort of...he had to build up some wins...toia would later fight hasim rahman....he would get knocked out early on.after a pretty competitive first round
we miss you Tommy

yes tommy dont got a chin. but i think a fight against evannder, or tyson would be epic but since tommy died a tyson holyfield fight would be epic

Both these men are powerful punchers
Samoan fighters are naturally powerful it's in the DNA genetics
tommy is the best boxer
no chin..no defense
YEAH, HE IS GOOD FIGHTER
ONE of the best!
Morrison looks so big in this fight. 238 Ibs.
Trop mignon le petit clin d'oeil à la fin ^^
Thought he would step up to tommy, took a beating. The power he had, damn
Im praticing box from 2 years and i realized Tommy Is a great boxer Man apart of Tyson
Could Tommy Morrison been a BodyBuilder? Nicks strength and power punching.
What? Get a life
Easy win for Tommy.
Miss?Such an asshole?Boxed for 7 years knowing he had Hiv!Then said he newer had it and boxed in Mexico, bleeding putting lots of persons in danger.
12:00 TOMMY looking so handsome in Cap 👌👌👌👌
Rip CHAMP 🥊🥊
Morrison the heaviest l can remember 238lbs.
thank you!
I would've liked to see him against Jimmy Thunder though.
Rip jimmy
mike tyson and Tommy morrison are the best boxing champions of all ages
MAYBE YOU RIGHT
Tyson yes Morrison no
Not sure whose chin was actually better, but Mercer's was more battle-tested I think. Tua vs. Mercer would've been an interesting matchup to see.
Light on his feet and balanced for a heavy weight, plus strong, good hooks and uppercuts. Great fighter and in excellent physical shape. Tui was too weak for him.
Tommy was a Great boxer but the steroids helped his ability
Steroids don't make Boxers. Genetics and training does. Excuse making weakling.
He was just lean, his physique can easily be attained without steroids lol
@@deleting.chanel he on the juice same has holyfield
Morrison bulked up for this fight.
Fighting Morrison for 7500 bucks in a ten-rounder?
Morrison lost to Mercer because he tried to knock out a guy who had never been knocked out. He should’ve fought Mercer the way he fought Foreman.
Couldn't have said it any better !
Big Tommy Morrison to strong and out beast this guy! Late sole’
Morrison was lucky this guy didn't have a knockout punch. He always got hit way too much.
He needed a better trainer
I heard legends that T Morrison knocked out Satan. Satan said God Damn that Left.
13:12 thank Tommy !!!
Your friend from France.
That's you in the white hat?
Your right, both of those guys just never looked like they were gonna eat canvas and we shouldn't forget about Foremans 2nd go around as far as chins go.
Look how built tmy is wow
On PEDs
Super walka 🥊🥊😃
pretty sure this is the heavy duke ever was but his awsome power tcb for him again lol.

Mogh definitely! His reaction time is so damn precise, I love it
I always liked Toia, but the whiteboy cracked that ass! Straight up!
lol. right. these guys talk about everything EXCEPT for what's going on in the ring.
Tommy man🙏🥊
Those arms on Toia are a handicap but lifetime job security as a bouncer.
If Tommy fought Tua it would have been a disaster for him....
I agree if your talking about David Tua. Tua had a solid chin and was never down in his career , and incredible power that I don't think Tommy could handle.
Iron Fist if
Tua did get knock down once in his last fight
But I agree Tommy's chin wouldn't hold out
WOW, Toia almost dropped Morrison here!
GQ41178 When? I mean yeah maybe the first uppercut he landed flush stunned him for a sec, but I honestly didn't see Tommy wobble at all.
This was a pretty weak fight.
So that guy Tui Toia. His 1st name is pronounce like “Twee” not “2-EE”
$7500.00 for Tui, yea 3 rounds , every body go shopping
Morrison carrying him he doesn't unload with combinations .What's to give the fans their money worth .
Greate heart of Toia, but he looked like a picked win.

Complete mismatch..fight should not have even happened.
Tommy defense or lack of i what always got him in trouble.
Look at their calves
I guess Mor was heavily juiced up
Toia was not much of a puncher. He had a lot of weight down in his legs, which doesn't necessarily help in punching power. David Tua was a huge puncher built like Toia but with more muscularity in his upper body.
Me hubiera gustado aver bisto a morrison vs mike tyson en sus tiempos ambos
morrison looks like tua in this fight..lol
I like To'ia. He's not fit. He can fight so good.
Looks pretty damn fit to me!
Announcers are important.I own a chain of radio stations and never would I hire, whoever these gentlemen are...enough said?
toia is built like a stump
That was the slowest I’ve ever seen Tommy move . Where was that lightning quick hook , and everything else 🤷🏼♂️. This was the most boring fight I’ve seen of his
This was the heaviest weight of his career so understandably he wasnt as sharp as his previous outings.
Another no match fight..

Tua had a great chin but Mercer's was better.

Mismatch
Morrison didn't really beat anyone of significance other than an old George Foreman and Razor Ruddock (premature stoppage)
Well a slightly older yet Foreman won the heavyweight belt, so there's that. Yeah he only beat the two biggest strongest guys 😂
This fight was not fair. A nothing vrs a possible somebody.
What a joke this fight was. They should have never let that potato packing chump into the ring with Morrison.
