Ha, in the early to mid 80’s I would have won almost every tournament I fished in Pennsylvania with a limit of the smallest fish you were catching. Times sure have changed and you guys are good. I remember a friend sending me a new bait from Florida that was hammering the fish up here- a 6” Red Culprit worm fished Texas style. I’m not crazy about some of the technology available today but the amazing number baits that have developed over the years is fun to try to stay up on. I’m 79 so your videos remind me of the excitement we felt as we launched. Thanks for that! Do me one favor, release the fish a bit more gently, don’t like seeing them flung back to the water. All in all, thanks for reviving those 40 year old memories! Great videos. Good luck in your career. I’ve been buying some 6th Sense baits, I assume you are involved with them.
Buddy I been subbed up since forever.. I've seen the Walmart challenge that scored a massive musky. the backyard pond in Nebraska Chillen with Zak stachestain and prof.. Ive seen 3 different trucks 3 different boats one move to Texas 2 kids. I've seen you go from idolizing and fishing with the pros (Ike) to becoming one yourself.. what I'm saying is whether you get that seat in the elites or not I'm really dang proud of you and I'll always be here on this platform to support your ass lol.. thanks for working day and night to bring us the best content you can..
Your a adaptive fisherman, your content has helped me even as a lifelong outdoorsman. Would love just one day to fish with you! Keep up the great work ben
Glad to see a video of you with a Jig in your hand. Seems like your older videos you always had your homemade jigs in your hand. I understand your fishing style changed but, that Ol’ Jig is reliable. Been a mfer for a long time now and I’m rooting for you in these next two tournaments.
Just got in from. Little afternoon fish sesh. And they ended up hut the Ole shad color whale on a 8th oz keel hook pitching under docks. Love the head wobble of the whale 🐋
Was that "ON EM" ! He got plenty 5xds and Scottsboro swims if u need em. Ky lake nostalgia from back in the days of fur coats and trophies. Watching and pulling for you!!! Get r done
LOZ is My Favorite lake in Missouri, ive had some truly magical days out there. I Fished a tournament 2 years ago on the same weekend you were there as well. Hoping we cross paths some day! 🤙
Bottom line is, yes, it's very hard to be a co.Angler.Everybody has a different style of fishing. If you're a slow methodical fisherman, soft plastics taking apart a place then yes, it's very hard to fish. With guys that all they do is move.Move move move but again it's their boat and if that's their style you have to adapt.... Now one thing I will say is annoying is that if you do Start. Catching up and the guy on the front of the boat gets p***** and starts moving the boat away from the spot where you're catching them. That's annoying and I have how that happened...
I might have to make it a rule that I can't watch any of your videos unless I'm within 24 hours from going fishing. How's a guy supposed to work for two more days without fishing after watching you haul in fish like you do??? I get a little better at bass fishing after every one of your videos! Thanks and tight lines out there.
Omggg I feel the same way! Lol....even when I'm all "fished-out"just sitting there bored, and I'll force myself to watch a couple UA-cam anglers just making it look fun AND easy lol but we all know it takes years of putting hours in at establishments😢😢
LOZ is my home lake even though I live 2.5 hrs away. It’s my favorite lake in the country. From October through April. Then I go fish Pomme de Terre or Truman.
Not sure if you ever went ip to HA HA TONKA, it haa fresh water spring the puts millions of gallons of water into the lake. The water upnthere is probably cleaner than the Gravois mills area.. Great videos
Your a beast man you going to fish that cold front this weekend I live in TN going to get in the low 40s at night wonder how the fish will react from that.
Hey Ben. I had a Zark rod or should i say two...They both snapped. Customer service didn't want to help me after the second one broke. All i did was cast a square bill crank bait and the blank snapped while casting on the bend. Didn't hit the rod on anything. Thats never happened to me before. That was a good year and a half to 2 years ago. I gave up on the 6th sense rods because it seems like the materials beings used to create the rods were from sub par material. Do you still stand by your rods? Have you ever had any of these problems? Why was customer service not helpful after it broke a second time? Its just tough because everything is so expensive and when you buy a product from your favorite fishing UA-camr you hope it will last. Not break twice and not have customer service back up their product.
Come on Ben I’m 6 Sense for life but I’m an MF’er to the bone. You gotta get them numbers up and win this and make it happen Cap’n! I’ve been following you since the Nebraska days of eating trout and eggs for breakfast. You’ve come a long way since then and you’re at the top and you need to stay there and leave no need to look in the rear view mirror except to watch the others picken’ bait out their teeth! Good luck 🍀 Brother… MF’er til the end!!!🔥🔥🔥
Docks everywhere on lake of Ozarks got couple buddies fishing the big bass bash right now and tomorrow there freezing on the water right now 😂 but catching
If you want to be randy blauket, your gonna get crushed. Hard to win ata major disadvantage, even if your a hater youve got to learn it win with it and get on the elites then you can be John cox and not use it and try to stay in the top 74 or whatever
Everyone in the field is using forward facing sonar. If it were outlawed for everyone, I think I would be more competitive. But there is zero legitimate arguments for it being outlawed in tournaments. The technology is literally the same as putting a flasher onto a flat 2d screen. Technology has moved at a snails pace in the fishing industry, and there’s literally no other advancement past FFS. The biggest advancements in technology that help the top tournament anglers find and catch fish are more accurate mapping and side imaging.
That interaction with Matt no matter how long or short is golden😂 two of my favorite guys in the industry, just cannot beat that
I appreciate how descriptive you get with what you are using to catch the fish. Thank you.
07:10 - those casts were a damn thing of beauty.

Into it ! Quality vid boys , lots o laughs !
You got this Ben. Tight lines all day
Why don’t you use Bullet weights with your Texas rigs? Just wondering.
When I was flipping I was using a bullet weight. On the deep worm I’ve grown to greatly prefer a free rig 👍🏻
Ben You Are Going to the CLASSIC...get them in Florida the Elites don't know it but they need you
When you get to the Harris Chain, look for clean water and keep the popping frog handy
I would just like to take a second to praise your trophy calfs, definitely didnt miss leg day. Wow
Great video. Good to see you relax some. Keep on keeping on!
Been an mf since 2018 kind of surreal seeing you fish at a high level on lake of the Ozarks. Keep doing what your doing love your channel man.

Go gettem bud 🍻🍻
As always, well done!
The best dock skipper I’ve ever fished with 😂😂
Were you just throwing that drop shot on brush piles? I never know what structure to hit in early fall.
Yes. That’s a reliable pattern year round
That is so funny how he got that name . I'm from Missouri. And an MFER for life . Congratulations Ben
Nice explanation of what your throwing on them docks. That line on the prawn look thick. What pound test is that?

Man it funny to watch you hiding the scale or the fish from your competitors. 😂
Do you typically use a heavier drop shot weight?
I spent my weekends growing up in the Gravois arm. I love that lake.
I really liked this longer video!

What brand buzz bait were you using?
Hope the big bait bite pans!
Weights in fish?
Good luck
My friend Andy Fryer won the TBF at Lake of the Ozarks in March
are you intentionally hitting the dock with your bait for a reason or is that just how you do it? thanks, love the videos bro
Awesome video as always. When do head to Florida to practice for your next tournament
What’s wrong with the audio? I was trying to hear how much the big weighed and it was like 2 different things were going on.
