    As a new player thats 6’5”, I appreciate this video. I ordered a 68, but will mostly switch to a 77 after watching this video

      you might want to go to your local shop and try out some tanks. i'm 5'4 and use one of the new 77ci hk alpha air tanks. these new tanks are shorter than the "traditional" sized tanks. the 77ci is just a little longer than a 68ci . since you're pretty tall maybe you might need a bigger bottle or extended tank reg or get a tank reg extender to be more comfortable

    Fundamentals of strength technique. Closer stronger further weaker. Fatigue makes discomfort. Keep it as tight to you as possible.

    Very informative, I played with a 68 tank for 3 years but last year switched to 80 ci tank and love it for scenario games.

      How tall are you? Thank you for the feedback, I bet it helps others make their tank size decision!

    I’ve just acquired an old shocker NXT. Any recommendations on a tank?
    I’ll be playing woodsball and my budget is low

      The Shocker NXT was a top performing gun when it was released but not the most air efficient gun, because of that I would recommend looking at the HK Army 68/4500psi tanks. They are an excellent choice for someone on a budget but wants the most shots that they can get. Here is a link to those tanks.

    Hey I just got into paintballing and absolutely fell in love with it. Bought cheap gear but plan to sell it and buy all new gear next year, I have my eye on the empire axe 2.0. What size tank would you recommend? I’m 6.5ft and I like to rush. I’m really thinking a 77 or a 80 just so I can be snappy and quick with it and it won’t get in the way. But also thinking the 90 because I’m so tall. But when you said the 90 felt hella awkward that made me feel more towards the 77/80. Whatcha think?

      @ProEdgePaintball  3 роки тому

      At 6.5ft tall the 90ci bottle may be a perfect fit for you. One of our customers is 6.10ft tall and needed to add a regulator extender to his bottle. You best bet will be to try both bottles on your paintball gun and see which is most comfortable to you.

      Two of the guys who work in the store are that height and one uses a 68ci Ninja Tank and the other a 77ci Ninja Tank. So you are right in that cusp between the two, if you can try both bottle sizes on your gun and see how you like it.

    Hey man i’m 6 feet tall should I get a 68/4500 or bigger?

    • @ProEdgePaintball
      @ProEdgePaintball  Рік тому

      What we find with most people that are 6 feet tall or over is that the smaller tanks like the 48 cubic inch and 50 cubic inch become uncomfortable in long points because the arms have to bend so much to shoulder your paintball gun. I would definitely recommend trying a 68/4500 tank on your gun and see how it feels in your hands but most people that we know in your height range are very happy with a 77 cubic inch or an 80 cubic inch tank.
