- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Lexus LS460 L. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I just bought a 2011 ls460l with 100,000 mi on it. It literally floats on air. I hope to have it for many many years, I do keep my vehicles a long long time; this one is by far the nicest I've ever had...
I just started a job at Toyota and had to drive one of these on a test drive to ensure a repair holds up. Literally the very first time driving one. I probably have never driven a smoother car in my life. Just about defines driving on a cloud. Definitely on my list to purchase now.

I drove this car it feels like heaven the wind noise is not existent the suspension is amazing you won't feel bumps on the road the steering is very smooth its a place that you can retreat to.

Damn it looks practically new. These older generation Lexus are just phenomenal in terms of reliability and longevity. The "thump" sound when you close the door. It's so quiet, sometimes i have to rev the engine to check if the car is running.

Agree 100% and it doesn't even have a function. LS 430 and LS 460 were awesomely designed cars. The new ones, meh.

I have the Lexus ls460l 2007. Exactly like this one. I love my lexus ls460l. It is fully loaded in the back with radio controls. It has 160,000 miles and sounds like brand new.
I hope to own this one day! I am in love with the used Lexus market.
Its still amazing to see that Lexus has evolved this far since 1989 when they first made thier mark in America with the LS400! One of toyota's best ideas ever.

Agreed. The 2007-2012 LS460 looked discreet and elegant. I really don't like the LS with the spindle grille. It looks like an outdated car trying to look new.

Mario Torrez Quant kinda true/kinda not, my mom has 3 of these the new 2017, 2011, and the 2014, she has them maxed out with upgrades. They are the best cars, she has not had one problem with anything breaking, nothing, it drives if she just drove off the lot.

awesome car and review as always. I've always liked the styling of the LS's over the years but all the fancy gadgets in the new generation ones kill it for me, i'm too simple for this, but the 2006 and older ones are perfect bc they were pretty luxurious themselves, but were still easier to get used to.
Are the self-closing doors and folding/unfolding mirrors on start/stop both standard features on all 2011 Lexus LS 460 models or only on the LS 460 L model?

The LS is under the super luxury class. They're both full size, but the RLX would be competing with the GS. I wouldn't say the MDX is putting Lexus or BMW to shame. The RX350 or X3 are amazing SUV's and overall consumers and critics have preferred the RX than the MDX. The LS has been the noted to have one of the finest interior, quality build, and amazing comfort in its class.

@MrThingamagig I also like how he doesn't express any bias or negativity towards certain brands. All of his reviews are very neutral, yet very informative. They make for a great buying intro to a car, which saves a lot of time. I've used his videos countless times to gather more info about certain cars that I was considering of buying. Sometimes I actually referenced Kyle's overview to see what was missing or wrong with the car I looked at.
