Why are you using the kraft paper over the UCM transfers on every press? Is that to stop scorching? I thought kraft paper was not recommended when pressing UCM. Please educate me.
The Kraft paper or cover sheet is optional on UCM Transfers. However it is not recommended for any screen printed transfers or digital screen printed transfers. Generally, I like to use it if I can - especially across some of these heat sensitive garments or decorative elements of garments (like the brand logos that come on them). Hope this helps! Josh
I chatted online with S & S - on what SKU's of hoods have flat drawstrings - and they did not have a listing of others from Champion you showed here. I'd like to put my local high school mascot . name on them
Hi Mick, thanks for watching! The Champion Sport collection is a new and exclusive collection for us, and the flat drawcords are a more fashion forward element they added to it. They are also the only ones with the Champion logo on them. Aside from the one featured in the video: www.ssactivewear.com/p/champion/chp180 www.ssactivewear.com/p/champion/chp100 (women's companion) There's also these two Champion styles which have flat drawcords: www.ssactivewear.com/p/champion/cd450 www.ssactivewear.com/p/champion/s760 Independent has some with flat drawstrings as well.
Certainly. You would have to print/cut and weed them though so I would not recommend for the extremely fine details and text. The photo real prints would be a good fit. I would recommend Stahls' Soft Opaque II media as it applies as low as 250 degrees to decorate without scorching.
what size did you do the words on the strings
