Dan, I have a sugestion. When you review a rubber, its better if you use more than 1 blade for example allwood 5ply 7ply and carbon or by different outer ply or core ply. Maybe in this case, you can use ZX2, S7 and AX. Because each rubber suit to different blade and depend on the player style. Ofcourse it takes more effort but the quality and depth review will increase. But overall, thank you for your review 😊
I bought the same blade and The EURO rubbers for both Back and forehand and it's amazing I prefer them to the Andro rasanter R42 and R47 series rubbers. I will try to buy xiom rubbers from now on.
This was much better review than the previous, I like the more commentary style and the little bit sharper review not like „everything is perfect bla bla bla“ thanks ! Keep up testing !
great reveiw guys just got omega vii euro for my back hand on your recommendation i love it .i changed from vega euro which i out grew this is the next level for me
Great review, guys. I'm using a Xiom Ice cream AZXi with Omega VII PRO on both sides. I'll try O7 Euro on the backhand side (ZLC) after watching this video. Still I really feel quite comfortable with my paddle.
You guys seem to play a very euro style loop. My gut tells me the pro probably helps players that use a more full arm and really brush well. I currently use the omega V pro, and if my hit isn’t brushed very well the pace is good but not too spinny. However, when I brush well, it’s deadly. I think it’s hard to switch from tenergy to a harder rubber.
I agree... I would like to have more dwell time and less weight than the V and VII Pro...I have yet to hit with Tenergy 05... but the Europe looks good! Maybe try the Yasaka 7?
I am a huge Xiom fan for years. I am using ZX2 blade from the release and the blade is just amazing (Some backhands here ua-cam.com/video/RTdZe0vmD74/v-deo.html). I also tried Xiom Omega 7 pro on it (the same combination as Dan and Tom have on video), and i can say, that it is not much than the allround combination, the performance is quite dissapointing, which we can see on video - there is no speed, and with really hard effort we cant get more. Match play section also proves this well, just look. Omega 7 pro needs more harder outer layer to perform, on hinoki it is just too mushy. It is a bit better on Innerforce ALC and Timo Boll Spirit. The sponge hardness is MUCH LOWER than 47.5, i compared it with Vega Pro rubber which is truly 47.5 and it is way harder. At almost price of tenergy the performance omega 7 doesnt worth it. If you like Xiom, go with ZX2 + Vega Pro rubber and you cant get wrong with it.
Dan , i was planning to buy a xiom feel hx pro blade with omega 7 pro on my forehand and omega 7 asia on my back hand . Will it be a wise choice to use this rubbers on this blade or not .
Hey Dan, blocking looks quite easy and solid. But in the Video, it looks like when smashing, both rubbers do leck a bit of speed and punch. On, for example, a T05 looks more speedy. What do you think about it?
boost 07pro with 2 layers of falco tempo long and it will be much more playable. boosted 07pro is very live and dynamic and lifting low backspins is easy. unboosted rubber is hard as brick, fast but not spinny. boosted is a pleasure to play..good ball feeling and the pronounced click sound will make you not want to stop your training :) rubber stays hard but very dynamic and you can brush loop low balls. out of the package lifting low balls with brushing action is very difficult
Personally I have recently started playing with Dhs neo skyline on fh and Xiom vega pro on bh on a Stiga Offensive WRB blade. I like the direct feeling the hard rubber gives and the speed I can generate with it!
Thank you for the review both seems like very good rubbers. Regarding your rubbers reviews in general, I see that you're reviewing different rubbers with different blades and I wonder if that may affect your ability to focus on the rubber as the blade has a big impact on the performance. Wouldn't it be better to review rubbers with the same blade? In addition I wonder if you guys can review Palio Ak47 Red rubber. It's a tensor rubber which comes in a surprising price. I wonder what you guys will think of it :) Once again thak you and keep up the good work!!
Amazing HOW MUCH technology has changed TT, rubbers and blades alike : i still like the feel of my Primorac Carbon + Juic 999 (or J. O. Waldner by DONIC) ! !
This was mentioned in passing that Tom using Stiga genesis M. Would this be correct ? Also, please add the over the table flick to your test. I have a difficult time executing that particular stroke.
When working the backhand and changing from pro to Europe I don't think he actually changed. He showed that he was going to use the red side but continued with black
I hope one day we get a defensive rubber / blade review . Pips, inverts, rubbers for chopping etc etc. Love the review. It sounds like the microphone on match play is on or below the net?
Hi~I really like your review video. Could you make a quick comparison between OMEGA 7 PRO and VEGA TOUR, please? I'm keen to know the difference among the two rubbers. Many thanks!!!
of course for the pro version u cant put much spin, and more to control and speed, you're using hinoki blade after all, the dwell time is very minimum, that's why when you try the softer one it feels better! I dont understand why you dont use your own blade to test the rubber... must be a sponsored review lul
Rafael Márton Oh Yeah, needed a new blade because my old one broke afther a little rage. Even though i took one as close to my old one as it gets, it felt so different, crazy stuff.
Agree. This is 80% a test of the blade and 20% rubber, or better yet, a test of this blade/rubber combination. As we know, the same rubber can play very differently depending on blade. I think your reviews are great but the analysis would be more scientific if you compared every rubber on the same blade, especially when comparing one rubber to another.
I have a question: Can I use Omega 7 Pro in backhand with Stiga Clipper 75th? I have used H3 Hurricane NT orange for backhand, but my elbow is injured, so I want to change to rubber that can support the power. I have never used any Xiom product, so can you and everybody help me answer my question? Thank you very much!
TECHNO ARYAN tibhar carbon shot blade is too fast blade if you you use tibhar genius rubber you wouldn't be able to brush the ball. The ball will fly off the racket too quickly resulting in less quality ball. Combination of tibhar carbon shot and tibhar genius does not suit each other I have used tibhar carbon shot and tibhar genius optimum +.i didn't recommend you to use this combination
TECHNO ARYAN Either. Defo a softer rubber on that blade. However, you'd need to try out what blade suits the genius, possibly one with a lot of limba wood, tsp 5.5 or butterfly Apolonia perhaps?
HI I AM FROM TURKEY SO I CANT SPEAK VERY WELL. I want to get a combo racket. I do not know exactly what to buy. please help me in this regard. I play topspin on the desktop. bh not so good. I have to get a controlled tire for bh. avalox p700 +fh: xiom omega 7 euro +bh: tuttle 2013 positive energy how. would I be harmonious, or bh can be donic bluefire m3
Dan and Tom, do you have experience with Xiom rubber its very easy shrinking. Can you explain why this happened with Xiom rubber? Other is less shrink than Xiom, except MXP. Maybe Mxp have sampe level with xiom rubber. Thanks
dont stretch the rubbers when glueing. let it glide onto the blade when gluing and roll it softly to even if you stretch then they want to get to its original shape thats why they shrink
your do very good rubber and blade review but it would be better if you used tow of the same blades each time you reviewed a rubber for example the stiga allround classic for the all wood blade and the timo boll ALC for the carbon blade this would make the reviews fairer as you would be using the same blades for each.
Luckychris What is your playstyle? Offensive or control/defence. If offensive, then I'd suppose yes. Also, if you feel confident with your technique, go for it.

that shot at 12:55 wow
Nice review , always a joy to see you play , more videos with Tom please , both of you seemed to have amped up your game , impressive

Look at that backhand flick !!! Somebody has been practicing
Can you do the reviews of Xiom omega 7 tour and Xiom omega 7 Asia
Your review helps a lot for us to choose the right rubber. I’m still using that rubber in my mizutani zlc ( bh and fh) and it plays amazingly.
This was much better review than the previous, I like the more commentary style and the little bit sharper review not like „everything is perfect bla bla bla“ thanks ! Keep up testing !
great reveiw guys just got omega vii euro for my back hand on your recommendation i love it .i changed from vega euro which i out grew this is the next level for me
Sponge hardnes is not only difference between this 2 rubbers, it is also sponge density, omega 7 euro has denser sponge than omega 7 pro.
Great review, guys. I'm using a Xiom Ice cream AZXi with Omega VII PRO on both sides. I'll try O7 Euro on the backhand side (ZLC) after watching this video. Still I really feel quite comfortable with my paddle.
Does Omega VII pro have a good durability?
Which is better on backhand Aldo?
Stiff blade go for euro..flex blade go for pro..i just bought 2 sheets of euro for fh n bh..thx for the review you guys are awesome!!

What a backhand
Is omega 7 pro okay for Viscaria?
@@vunty1424 yes
do a video review on rakza series please
How would you compare the Vll Europe with the Tibhar Evolution FX-S or EL-S in terms of spin, speed, and control? Thx!

Again please let folks know which sponge thickness you guys are using in your reviews.
Hi Rydmerlin, sorry we forgot to mention this. We used max sponge thickness in this review.

Dan and Tom please may you do a review on the Yasaka Pryde 30 RUBBER please reply that would be a real pleasure
Been waiting for this:) does anyone know when the Asia is coming out?
Hello Jason, the Omega VII Asia will be available in mid-June 2018. The Omega VII Tour will be released later.
HNTTR thanks
I hope one day we get a defensive rubber / blade review . Pips, inverts, rubbers for chopping etc etc. Love the review. It sounds like the microphone on match play is on or below the net?

I thought hinoki gives more dwell time...?
do you recommend the pro or the rasanter r47 on a viscaria?
In my opinion, I would say yes, Rasanter is a good spinny rubber and viscaria is a good blade for offensive players :)
@@pascalito3385 I have question for you... Innerforce ALC or Viscaria? Which is one is better?

The name of the brand XIOM is read as Axiom.
