- This video is a tragic video about Loki who in my opinion is one of those villains that you can sympathize with. It's about redemption as well as vengeance, the fight between good and evil and trying to make his father proud. He has so much depth and all he ever wanted was to be treated as Thor's equal. Being the younger brother, often considered weaker it's not surprising he did what he did. I'm sure we all have those moments where you are constantly compared to someone else. Then when he finds out he's not even an Asgardian ooh so sad! :(

Out of all the villains in the movies for Marvel so far Loki was the only villain that I actually sympathized with and wanted him to win in the end. This song really does fit Loki well I can also see this as a good song for Iron Man.
I feel so bad for Loki. Especially when he finds out he's actually a Frost Giant. He was almost freaking crying and it breaks my heart when Loki says "Because I'm a monster that parents tell their children about at night?"

This video made me cry. When Loki told Odin that he would never be his son, but a mere Jotun that ever was everyone's nightmare. I really started crying, because damn, that hurt. I can actually relate to Loki because I'm so different from my siblings that seemingly are perfect.
You know, most of the people I read critics about Thor of, said that Loki was a total lame character because his reasons for being a villain were childish. I don't think these people can imagine what it's like to suddenly lose everything that made you you. That's why I'll always love Loki, inside and out ('cause Tom's bloody gorgeous, pink or blue).

While some people say that the reason Loki was a villain was because of childish reasons, I say he was a victim of circumstances who felt betrayed and alone for being a monster and not a true Asgardian. All he wanted was love, his sad past made him that way that's why he's a tragic villain, misunderstanded and lonely. This video catches a son's desire for acceptance and love from a father.
No one could pull a better Loki than Tom Hiddlestone, he's gorgeous! Loki, you're a beautiful monster.

I submit that those critics have no idea what it is like to spend years tiptoeing around and between a volatile parent and sibling, reading expressions and voices while your own go unnoticed; being unable to leave or fight back; the only other family member kind and supportive but lacking a voice; no other support system...and then you get hit with 5 major traumas in the space of a few hours.
I just love Loki. I can't unterstand how some people say he's lame..I feel so sorry for him. Everything he built up..he lost it in less than a second..

I love sympathetic villians. My first fangirl movie villian crushes (and this is telling my age) were Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty in Bladerunner and Darth Vader in Return of the Jedi.

I thought he was a very complex character - more so than the other characters in Thor. That's what makes him more interesting. He wasn't bad as such, but he always had to compete with Thor for their father's attention & affection. And despite all his anger at Odin, he did still care about him

Yep the critics were hot and cold on him though I read alot of good ones lol. But yes to have nothing and to lose your whole sense of self must be terrifying and I think Tom really digged deep to really portray that on screen. He did amazing. And yes on the gorgeousness ;)

Thanks! it is very sad that he wasn't always like that. He grew up with Thor and they were the best of friends and looking after eachother. Just somehow along the way he figured that Thor will always be the one everyone cares about not him and that becomes the catalyst for him trying to show what he can do even if it is bad.
