I've just read that Emi Evans had to come up with all those artificial languages for each song by herself. Unbelievable work done. Big shoutouts to Emi Evans!
After 10 years has passed still remember this dog stares and barks annoyingly at you. While listening to this beautiful song. And also it's almost 10th anniversary of Nier
If you position yourself a certain way facing her Nier will actually pat him on the head and then sit down listening to her sing. Its such a beautiful thing.
While I might be biased towards the remaster version because it was the first version I played, but this version I found was a bit more haunting and mournful.

It was a nice touch that the vocals kick in when you get close. This way when you hear vocals in a different location, you know Devola's near. Too bad she didn't really move much. Imagine hearing the vocals somewhere far from the village... that would kind of be spooky.

After that I kept following Cavia and later Yoko Taro. I'm happy for Taro that he finally gets the recognition for his story telling style.
Thank you for bringing this to us. I don't care much for the game itself, but this song is so gorgeously melancholic. I fell in love with it the first time I heared it.
Story makes less sense with brother nier, Dad Nier makes 100% sense why he would willingly destroy the world as we know it for the sake of his daughter, a sibling wouldn't do the same with the same stakes, it's down to parental instinct and drive
