My son and daughter in law just had quake in glenomia washington, 5 miles out of Morton. Near Mt st Helen's tonight at 11:16 pm.. shook her desk and computer

Maybe tell them to have some evacuation stuff ready just in case. More worried about Rainier going off than the effect of earthquake in that region. But would definitely get hit with tons of volcanic ash and smoke everywhere

Hello from Brentwood Bay my island neighbor.
My kids and I have a complete restart kit. 1 year of food. 2 complete sets of hand tools to fall trees,make lumber and build a cabin. Seeds for veggies, and medicinal herbs. Fishing and hunting gear. 3 industrial first aid jump kits.
7 water purification pumps.
And a bunch of cast iron cookware for cooking over an open fire.
Me and my kids are very prepared.
Hope the Quake doesn't happen today.

I have had preminitions in my dreams. A big rumbling and many will be in darkness? No food or water and major social uprising is coming. The world is surviving on a illusion, there is none without all working together. 🙏

6.8 Nisqually Earthquake on February 28, 2001 was centered about 35 miles deep centered near the Nisqually Delta northwest of Olympia near Anderson Island in South Puget Sound. The quake lasted about 40 seconds. The worst damage was in downtown Olympia, including the state capitol and to Pioneer Square in Seattle. Tacoma was largely spared. Damage could have been much worse if not for the depth of the quake.
I remember that one well! I was in a very old 8 story brick building in downtown Tacoma. I was on the 4th floor and the walls were rippling like waves! Pretty terrifying stuff. Glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Never will forget 😊
My mom was in the capital building when it happened. She was in an archway with a bunch of people and she said the marble walls were flaking off and falling around her

Thank-you for all this public service. I live in Eastern Canada (Montreal.) I vividly recall two earthquake episodes that I think were 5.x or something. In 1982 or 83? one woke me up. I remember a very vivid technicolour dream then waking to see my climbing rock hammer swinging from my bookshelf. The second about three years later. My wife and I were seated in a restaurant when the shaking started. Stuff falling off the walls and then my chair started jumping up off the floor and I weighed 200lbs. That was creepy. That never repeated to my memory.
In 2001 we had I think it was a 7. Earthquake in Seattle, it was crazy.
Hopefully this is not leading up to something big.

Quite large, and very unnerving.
Felt that one last night, as it was only about 10 miles or so west of us, the 3.5. Decent jolt/rattling, probably about 4-5 seconds long

Thank you for your reports. Its MY opinion that the scientists are being "instructed" to withhold some data by a higher authority in the interest of public safety. There is just too much missing data and we know they do this all the time.

According to the American Geophysical Union, between 2009 and 2021, the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network detected 180,000 tremors across the Cascade Subduction Zone. That is 15,000 tremors a year, or about 41 per day.

When the tremors stop, then that’s reason for concern.
From previous deep focus earthquakes in the past, there is an uptick of 6+ earthquakes in the following several weeks afterward.
Expect later next week to see more large quakes.

Yrsh in 2001 seattle also had a big earthquake, the year of the swarm.

I “think” the 6 plus quake was Feb 2001 in Olympia Wa. (Nisqually quake) South of Seattle.
I wonder if the lack of tremor on the PNSN map is causing the earthquakes north, maybe the subduction zone underneath is encountering some pushback/barrier that’s causing that stress to release somewhere else
I seem to remember a discussion regarding tremor where some correlation between LACK of tremor for extended period, such as a month, and large quakes in PNW. IF THERE’S ANYTHING TO THAT, THEN THE RECENT DROP-OFF IN TREMOR IS AN OMINOUS SIGN.
I got a teenie weenie break in my water to the toilet system - yes exactly on Thursday night. I am on a slant hill and my house is hardly steady on a rubbled almost foundation. It was a couple of months ago and there was a shudder at Tofino - one of my support beams created a small crack in the plaster. So every time it shudders - something at my place gets moved. Such fun living on the Coast in Gibsons BC.
I live in Bellingham, Washington and we didn't feel any shaking because of the depth of the quake. No tsunami warning. No big deal.
Im on the east side of V Island. I agree the Canadian website is not good. I do like the seismograph site its delayed by 4-5 minutes though

No surprise. The tectonic plates and subduction zones roared to life in 1998 and caused the eruption at the Axial Seamount, a submarine volcano on the Juan de la Fuco ridge, off the coast of Oregon. The entire zone has been hit with swarms of earthquakes of increasing frequency since then.
ABOUT 3 Weeks ago .here in Winters Ca ..I was sitting in front of my place in the morning .a few different mornings ..alot of shaking just from small cars going down the back rd .and not semis or heavy trucks the Amazon parking lot off 505 freeway was felt alot of shaking last year from parking lot back in Dec from semis.. but I believe light loads causing shaking is some cause for Alarm .Just a thought..AS ive not ever noticed here ..
If you check for small quake swarms back in March you will find over 200. Oceans Canada has the area heavily monitored because it is a undersea volcano that has been growing. CBC posted a good report about it then.

I would be moving away from the Cascadia area, literally, thousands upon thousands, are going to die, when it goes!! And, after all, the last time the Cascadia had a huge quake, was 300 years ago! ( 1700 A.D.) At that time, a huge tsunami wiped out both the wast coast and one part of the tsunami went clear to Japan, and did alot of damage!! Many prophets have warned, it will be very , very, devestating, when it comes!

In some the cluster quake release some stress in the activity area the plates are alsway on the move good covage on the quake

You are ignorant of the Canadian earthquake measuring and ability. I trust my own earthquake app - which shows me all the earthquakes in the area - even the 3 level - and the Canadian seismologists
