I got lucky on those dunks. I found them NDS without box for about 17 dollars about 10 years or so ago via ebay. It was mislisted without proper description haha

Those 1981 blazers 😮 are crazy I think the oldest pair I have left is some Nike airmax 180s from 2001

Great classic kicks here! Really like those white and blue Dunks and then the white and black Blazers are really clean. Baby 4’s!!
Its interesting because those blue dunks were in much much better shape even just last year. The leather started cracking over the winter for some reason. Still, given they are 20 years old, I would say held up pretty well

Haha yeah pretty much the same here. These are sneakers I accumulated since around early 2000. When I got into shoes, there used to be so many vintage shoes mislisted on ebay. I was able to cop these for some insane prices.

Yeah! Even just last year, there wasn't much cracking on the leather. Idk what I did wrong this winter lol. I kinda like the way they look rn tho. They look like real vintage OG dunks from 85 😂

that makes me wanna look for a pair from 82. im a little leery of wearing my oldest shoes because i dont wanna risk popping that bubble. from 2006 - 2015, all i bought were the annual air max releases.
Based on my experience so far, Air maxes from 2006 are still good to wear. I have a few from even earlier that are hoping up well (bubbles are fogging up tho 😂😂). My buddy who is not a sneaker head has been wearing his air max 2003 since 2003 or 2004 and they are still okay to wear lol
@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV im sure theyll hold up for a long time. its just that overall they werent as durable back then and i just wanna be careful with popping them. its only happened a couple times over the years but im way past that two year warranty, haha

I think..... Nike officially started in the early 70s? I know some of the first shoes they made were for track and field haha These are mine

It's pretty sick that you have 20 year old sneakers that you still sport! I guess there really isn't anything you can do to prevent the crack and pealing of the leather is there?
Yeah I don't think there is much I can do but what's really odd is even just last year summer, there wasn't much cracking Going on lol. Idk what happened over the winter time.

Yepp. Dark and cool area. It prevents yellowing mostly. Also moisture plays a big part too. Dry is good haha
