Robbie Dee, what a perfect crowd hyping MC. Tango live PA, guy made an entire set of some of the best tunes ever. What a combination. Would love to hear the whole set from the beginning.
Nuts.... I was about 11 and my older brother bought me this tape pack, my fellow primary school pals just wasn't down with it, 4/5 years later I started going out and although that hard house scene I got into was like no other, this was the father era.... Sad I missed it, but I guess I'd be older and not freaked out about turning 40 tomorrow!!!
Nice one. I got this 6 pack when I was 13. It was all single and double cassettes before that so I actually tried to give it back to the guy in the record shop thinking he'd made a mistake and sold me a VHS of the event. When he opened it to show me 6 gleaming Dance Planet tapes in the box, I literally couldn't believe it. The rest is history on the tape collection front. 😉 Less than a year later when I was 14, I started going to Skelters and Dreamscapes at The Sanctuary when I truly started living life. 🙂
@@LokiPunkAssBitch sorry bro I just seen this reply a year later ! Nice story, dreamscape was another awesome promotion , needs some kind of resurgence, been chatting to a promoter from Plymouth about it tonight after noticing every club in North Devon was close last Friday night. I think it's time to chill these angry drill kids and give them something constructive to do on the weekends, sadly during the conversation though he did say Top Buzz passed away yesterday and Apache a couple days before, sad time RIP to those absolute legends. Best Regards from Devon tho pal, thanks for sharing that story, gave me a laugh and I really pictured the moment that you discovered the tapes, wish I still had my collection with matching flyers and most the vinyl too, I often where it actually went and where it is now.
@@westcountryoddities8107 No worries, I'm well late on these comments too man. 😅 Yes mate, completely agree. 🤝 The aggy mandem drill shit needs to chill the fuck out! 😀 Glad my little story made you smile bro. 🙂 Yeah, so sad about Jason Kaye and Apache. 😔 My mate Dope Ammo is having an album tour of Together which he collabed with all the old skool legends including Top Buzz. It's next w'end in Milton Keynes and was massively looking forward to seeing them there but will just a tribute now. We'll all make it special though as much as possible in his honour. 💙 Take care bro.
