- Victor is so very proud to welcome, a true music legend and pioneer. The ever so talented singer, songwriter and performer Jeanette Hawes of THE EMOTIONS.
Grammy Award and American Music Awards winner, Jeanette Marie Hawes is one of the original members of the world-renowned Emotions singing group. She began singing with her two sisters as the Hutchinson Sunbeams at a very early age. The Emotions are recognized as one of the premier singing groups in American history, with numerous awards worldwide. Jeanette is also a songwriter, actor, and author. She is the mother of three children.
Jeanette really keeps it real. I was an emotion fanatic. In my eyes, those sister could do no wrong

God do I love me some Emotions. I was born in 83 but thanks to my funky parents i was raised on 70s music. I love Jean's version of Flowers. All of the girls were [and still] bad! Rest in Paradise Pamela Hutchinson. My condolences to the Hutchinson family respectfully.

You two touched on a very important topic. "Depression " I felt this! Victor! I get everything you said. This is why The Emotions are my favorite group...My friend asked me why they were my favorite. I told her because they had a song that fit every emotion that I had growing into womanhood. The ups and downs of it all. I'd listen to my girls and their songs and lyrics would sooth my spirit!!

I'm venturing out using more of the apps that I'm paying for. The Emotions are my favorite group in the world. I was blessed to see them last year at the Horseshoe Cassino in Indiana! What a treat! But uh, I can't agree with some of these comments about Jeannette. Hey, if I were to go back in my history...open my closet, lort! All kinds of shenanigans would jump out! We all have a past. You just can't go back there. We grow and thank God we move on! We all are not what we experienced in the past. I embrace Jeannette's growth. She's on her grown woman now! Ima need them to do a reunion concert! #wishfulthinking! Lol. Thanks Victor and Jeannette.
Thank u. I love all of the Emotions,but I truly appreciated hearing Jeannette speak from her perspective. If anyone really knows their story she sings lead just as well as her sisters. She is IMO more transparent & not trying to uphold an image. We hear Wanda(whom I ❤) all the time. Would love to hear Sheila's perspective if thats possible. Pammy was always my favorite Emotion, maybe since we were the same age and I was able to see her up close. Funny, when Ms Jeanette gets emotional she and Pammy favor each other.

I just watched a concert with Wanda and her two daughters on You Tube. They were really good. They sung a lot of the Emotions songs.

Sheila retired several years ago. Pamela & Wanda's daughter Wyann took the other 2 spots. After Pam suddenly passed about 3 years ago, Wanda's other daughter Wendy came in Pam's spot. Currently, Wanda, her middle daughter Wyann & Shanice Wilson's Mom Crystal Wilson perform 2gether as the Emotions.

I am a huge Emotions fan....but isn't she the one that had the affair with Philip Bailey? And her book is titled no regrets,,,,she along with Philip broke his wife's heart. A little hard to listen to the preaching

It's hard to listen to somebody preaching in the 2000s because of something they did in the 70s??? That was 50 years ago. Some of us haven't been perfect all of our lives.
@@UncleDuTheWatchman That is the point. One can't begin to be judgemental and 'preach' When she is not and never was a saint. But shouldn't we have enough character to acknowledge the pain that we may have caused others?
She is the one, hopefully she realizes she did wrong. And Philips’s wife forgave them!
