So I notice how your volume analysis on nio made you skeptical of the buyer control. I recently was in a scenario where I traded a complex pullback with PLUG and the lack of volume on the impulse move made me exit out on my partials aggressively. I ended up getting 2R's but could have gotten 6R's had I not been scared by lack of volume. That same day I was watching the chart guys recap and the fella mentioned how bull runs do not require massive volume, but bear runs DO require volume. He said that is an advantage bulls have in the market. Have you guys at SMB experienced this before or have any thoughts on this concept?

I'd say you need patience and let's things unfold especially if there's good news on the stock buyers sometimes tend to grind and accumulate without wanting to be seen.

That trade was massive💯. Trailing the stop would have been the best move after taking off most of the position. Massive buying on low volume suggest instutional buying.

trailing stop would have been good
Man NIO has had some crazy momentum. I missed out on a couple dips off the open because I got burned a bunch of times in the summer sizing in too early. The bounce on the 15th was a great example of how strong this breakout was.
Enjoyed the Q&A section at the end of the video. Maybe consider doing a Q&A specific video/stream every once in a while, particularly if other videos are harder to make while most traders are still working from home.

24 was able to be tested below. But it was supposed to be shallow and the tape is supposed to slow a bit around that new level 24, to allow for accumulation.

We do have some guys that trade weekly options. As traders get more experienced they will get more into options
Awesome video and finally understanding this! Studying this last night on E-mini S&P 500 and noticed an order that was well outside of the current bid-ask (at the time 9:57pm, price was between 3757-3758 on the bid-ask) at 3770 on the Time & Sales, 500 to be exact. How and why is that possible? My thoughts is that it was an order block given that the level was used again as support today.
Hwen they're looking for the slowing down of the tape. What does that indicate? That tehre is less volume. And now they loop if there are fills at the 23/80?
In regards to the tape being implemented onto the candlestick chart in terms of bid ask footprint chart. What is SMB’s view on this? As it seems it would be much more useful? Thanks in advance

I'm confused about something, Matt said he moved to a 9 EMA trailing stop? what was his exit indicator to go flat? and was it when the price crosses the 9 EMA, or holds below it for a period of time?
most likely if it makes a strong move under the 9 ema, and holds below it with large selling on the tape would get him out. But if it does the little dance where it will bounce right off even it did quickly trade under it for half a second, he likely wouldnt exit because of that
