Absolutely gorgeous pond really interesting how well he has filtered the water .I have a smaller pond (much smaller ) with my own way of filtering the water works ok
@@leecalladine massive pond, well built to. That filtration system is one of the best I've seen. Dedicated alot of space and time to it and can see the final results tuned out epic.
Very impressive pond and and an amazing diy filtration system. I've incorporated some diy filtration components into my pond's filtration system but nothing close to this set up. Very very well done and judging by the koi and the water clarity it works wonderfully.
This is the simple basic of pond how it should be, all elements look after naturally by bacteria on surface spaces. No hi-tech filtration system, fish enjoying life close to nature. I bet it must be really cheap to run that pond. Nice pond mate
Excellent pond I’m looking to plant my octagonal 2.5 k gallon pond next t year . I will be hanging baskets off the side with the top of the baskets an inch higher than the water level and the Lily basket level ……..that’s the plan

OMG, that filter system is way over the top, this guy must have nothing else to do but mess with it, if you took out half of the stages youd get the e same result . No denying the pond looks amazing though

It's a shame more Koi don't incorporate plants. It is possible just takes some thought.

The filter is very impressive. Its large enough to do the job. And has extra capacity should the fish load increase. Bigger is better.
I love this. Would like to know more about what he describes for the plantings at the end as this is something I would really like to implement.
