I had a 1978 Kenworth W 900 L with a 600 KT Cummins with a 6x4 set of sticks. Nobody passed me on a hill, unless I wanted them to! Big jugs and paper logbook. Those days are gone forever.
Garrett, I'd say you was right. A good ways west of the Falls, but still west & still Hwy 82. Just to narrow it down a bit: Hwy 82_WB @ Silver Falls; a few miles east of Crosbyton. Climbing to the top of the Caprock, leaving God's country & entering the South Plains. Must've been through there 10,000 times. Still beautiful scenery. Last big pull on 82, after Dickens hill, & the little Cap west of Dickens, till about west of Hope, NM.
What's the specs on both trucks? If you got the power pull on by. I've got a w900 6nz 18 spd she's had a little tune pulls most but I'll still tip my hat to whom ever passes me on a hill
What happened to ya ? I would have never known about you if UA-cam hadn't suggested your Video . You still haulin them cow's ? I'm in East Tennessee and just wanted to say Howdy .
You know when they go up slow, there coming down fast. And the cow haulers have to get there load there fast. After awhile the cows will lay down. Then the other cows will trample that cow. And the market won't take a dead cow. It left alive, and got there dead..... thats all on the driver.
