I am pleased to know it works for you. I am sure he/she(your coach) must teach you something better then I do as nobody knows everything. We all learn each other. Lee
Dear Mr. Lee.. I regularly watch your videos... Though I m 54 years of age and just 6 years back I have started playing this game but have started liking this game... Your videos have improved my game a lot...
It is amazing training! I impressed so much... In this morning I used this mature kind of smash-defence on my training. Together with my not bad finger-power, which I reached recently, not bad instance-step, footwork training from your's other video-playlist (How to improve your footwork) and positive mindset, I returned about 70-80% of smashes as effectively as I dreamed 2-3 years before. It was so simple, economically, very effectively and so impessively (not only for my surprized opponents, but much more for myself!! :)), that I will use this your kind of smash-defence from this video on every my training :). I such liked it!! Coach Lee, I wish you powerful health, hardy students, who love to learn and love you too :)))). You give us so many happiness! I am proud that I learned something from you!
Thank you so much for posting your kind comment. Your comment made me very happy and be delighted. It is really good to know that my clips helped someone like you to improve skills and enjoy badminton more. Yes for sure, I will continue uploading new clips until I upload all the things I know and experienced. Thank you for your time and effort on posting your comment. Lee
Thankyou that i have a personal coach by the internet, that has been teaching me a lot to expand my skills in badminton. Otherwise i might not be able to afford all these lessons, and the freedom of time that i have to learn each lesson. Thankyou Sir. And you have more pupils in all over the world than you could imagine. Pray that you are always in health. Respect from Indonesia. 🙏
That is a very good question. If shuttlecock is straight then put your racket foot forward that way you can attack as well as defense well. If you are on left side and shuttlecock is cross then your left foot forward to face the shuttlecock. If you are on right side of court and shuttlecock is cross thenyour racket foot forward to face to shuttlecock. Please try and let me know. Lee
I am extremely appreciate for your useful knowledge and technique. I've learnt a lot and my skill was significantly improved from watching your video. Wish all the best to you and your family, Coach Lee.
Thank you very much for taking time to post your comment and I am very pleased to know that my clips helped your badminton to improve. Thank you too. Lee
Thank you soo much for your reply. Your videos are so helpful. My skills certainly increased after watching your video. I took rest for a while and my pain went away, but now its back. Now I take pain killer before playing. My doctor suggested me to do some stretching exercise before playing that's the reason I requested you to suggest some stretching exercise. I really appreciate you for the great service you are doing to the community. Cheers
Thank you very Much Mr.Lee, Your lessons are of good use in the court.. due to my shoulder cuff injury, recently i changed to left arm , i keep watching& practicing your lessons. and it shows best results..
I just played a while ago and it all worked like magic! I could already return shots I normally find difficult! But it's still hard to return the smashes into the back court. By the way, you teach way better than my previous coach. Thanks coach!
Thank you so much Coach Lee! I was having confidence issues because my defense was weak but after training like how you said, I am doing a lot better. Really thank you very much!
Dear Sir . Your training videos are very good and they help me to improve my badminton skills each time i watch them . Thank you for sharing it over the internet . Regards Sam Masih
I'm half trained by your training videos and being a better looking person physically and mentally now. I was able to learn some key skills in a very short span of time. Thanks Master Lee. :) God bless you and the academy.
i learn a lot the of technique from your video in you tube.....just learn and try.. any how,, i improved my skill...you tutorial is easy to understand... thanks teacher lee..
Your guidance and tips are really great..Thank you so much sir. I will continue to watch all the video which really helps to me play better..Thanks again
I am weak in lifting smash, specially which comes on the body,my posture and footwork was wrong , In this video you have showed the correct posture and footwork, I am working on it,This training helped me a lot !!
The best way is to rest and to findout why that pain caused. There can be a number of resons. 1. taking shuttlecock above or behind your head instead of in front of your body. 2. Using too much shoulder instead of using more wrist. Three things can be done. 1. rest and treat 2. make your shoulder stronger 3. identify your skill why it is caused and improve or change your forehand overhesd skills. Even if you do good stretching the pain will come back as long as you play badminton. Kind regards.
Please check your base where you are standing for his smash. I think you are standing centre or close to the net. If you are standing the right base and opoonent samsh to your upper body then it will go out if you do not take it. Your posture may be standing too hoigh. Put your posture much lower. Try both then it will help your smash defense, Lee
Thanks for coaching us. Every bit of detail is very important in order to become more skilled player. We are losing a match because the opponent is not playing better rather we are making too many mistakes. Thanks again...
Thank you so much for all your amazing training videos and for being so clear and precise with your instruction and examples of the right way and wrong way. 🌟🙏🏼🌟
I will call you Dr. Lee, i am seeing your channel from many year. I make sure i watch the basics video repeatedly even time i see this i observe a minor point which i missed this helps to be more effective. Every moment we spend watching it is more valuable , any issue in execution when some one put comments we are sure your will defiantly comment with corrections. I will also request for one more such basic video that is about Warn up and cool down which i think is also important part, we see and do by watching online etc but we need from you sir. Hope to see this :)
Thank you very much for your kind comment. Yes, I shall make warming up and cool down clips. At the moment, I am having break from making clips but I shall do it in next few month time. Thank you for asking. Lee

Even the day its hurting while I am playing badminton by the time I reach home the pain is gone...

Coach, thank you for this awesome video. I see in other youtube videos that we need to use backhand grip. I understand you ask us to put the racket in front, but what about the grip? Should it be backhand grip or neutral?
is there a such thing as a black belt in badminton? cause really great video! thank you so much for the teachings! very effective techniques/explanations and mindset
Hi, thanks so much for your tutorial and tips! Just a question, if your opponent hit your right shoulder or upper right part or even your head, how to defend with the 50/50 positioning?
It should be middle/neutural grip as there is no time to change grip when defending smash. Lee
Hahaha I love your sense of humour :D
"If my arm is this short and my racquet this short.. then maybe stand exactly center" LOL
Thank you. I am glad to know you like it. Lee
