Thank you for this. Sometimes I get so upset with God. We give praise and we show our gratitude but then life on this planet is just so difficult, but then you catch a break for a moment of relief or the kind words and affirmations we share to one another but then all of the pain in world. The cycles are so exhausting, but nevertheless we persist. I'm struggling with my mental health lately too. I lost my job, I have an office but technically im totally homeless. I haven't gotten to shower in like 3 weeks or something, day by day i'm just slowly losing it, more and more. I am a 31 y/o grad student in quantum computation, constantly doing research and learning, but still its like what is any of this - why are we here, why is the earth here, why do we pray to something we can see, why are there only creature here? why here and then universe is so big, we're all so powerless even when we have it and can do what we can do, it just all feels so insignificant. We tell ourselves to be good and to be happy and humble and nice but we're so small, its hard to see the value in it all and if its here itll pass, but when it passes, itll come back. Periodicity of yin and yang, feeling good and then bad and then back again. we suffer and then thrive and then repeat as a cycle, hot to cold to hot to cold. I don't know.
