In this video, I'm going to show you 3 ways to use jump cuts to create thumb stopping coaching content.

Jump cut for audios ?
You can do the exact same with just the audio, I will do a video this week to show you how 😀

Hi, i came to your tutorial because i'm trying to resolve a problem in a video i'm editing on Capcut: I filmed someone teaching something for her social media account and during her talk she stutters for about a second, so I removed that section from the video and the jump cut (if i may call it that) is noticeable. Isn't there a way to seamlessly join the 2 sections that were created after removing the middle (stutter) section?
@amcds2867 I'd you don't like the look of the jump cut on the video, even with using a zoom in and out effect.
You could use a J or L cut or hide it with some B-Roll.

@amcds2867 I don't have a public video in this, if you Google J&L cuts you will find a video on it.
Basically, it's where you separate the audio and video, trim the video on one side to make a J shape and the audio on the other clip to make an L shape, then over lap them.

how do you do this from the phone?
@luciaandglynn on your phone you cut the video with the spilt tool and then use your finger and thumb to zoom in ( like you would to look at a picture on instagram)

@@videosforcoaches31fantastic! Do you have a video on applying transitions to all?
@luciaandglynn I dont have one on mobile but I can make one.
Until then, click on the white square between your clips and the transitions options will appear in the bottom of the screen.
Pick the one you like, depending what fits your video and just adjust the slider bar for the duration you want the transition to last.
If it's 2 taking clips close together keep it short but not to jumpy.
If it's a b roll clip you can go longer and play about abit more.

is there anything to do auto cut, i mean just not voice on video to cut? premiere has, is capcut has like that?
When you are doing captions, it will cut out filler words and leave blank spaces, then you can manually cut them.
Over here it doesn't have an auto cut to speaking like premiere just yet.
The pro version have now added an auto cut 😀
