Buying a smartphone with lots of features is itself a headache.from installing Google to Gmail, every app nudes you.
The apps on Samsung and Apple phones aren't crap and actually apps I would use , like the music app allowing me to play offline music instead of the crap they have on MiUi. And Apple iOS apps are one of the best for iOS.

The worst thing they did with miui 12.0.3 update was they removed the data usage status from notification shade, which was quite useful.. hope they get it back.
They are there just switch to normal notification panel other than the iOS like one

@@sanjayp2683 In Redmi 9 Prime and below they removed it. Long press simply opens information of the app.
my favourite features are the dedicated thread for gestures because it honestly lags sometimes, and if they managed to fix it that would be a huge bonus, secondly the reduction of battery usage by system apps is welcomed because i feel like they are consuming more battery than they should, and finally the new notification centre swipe thing would be very useful.
The best thing is having a new gesture to go in control center from notification shade

That's nice... But anyone who is reading this be aware that Nokia's Android smartphones are not good when it comes to software. Let me tell you what actually happens. When any tech reviewer reviews a Nokia phone, you might have noticed that they highlight that they run on stock android which provides a smooth experience. But also, do notice that these phones are launched after Google announces a new Android Version. So, when Google announced Android 11, all Nokia phones released anywhere after six to eight months are on and will be on Android 10. Which means, you are already using a "Brand new" phone which has an year old software.
"But that's alright!" you will say. They are providing an update to the next version so we will get it anyhow. But have anyone of you seen any reviewers review the Nokia phones after the update? Hardly any. And the company knows this. They know that whoever is going to buy their phone will look at reviewers reviewing the original software. So they don't pay much attention to the bugs they introduce in their next Android update. Hence, breaking down the phone, making it slower and restarting here and there randomly. Saying this from my personal experience. So Nokia is a thing of past and no matter how much they try, if they continue like this, they will be a thing of past.

Received miui 12.5 update on 29 May 2021 on Mi 11x (Indian retail unit). There is NO wallpaper and personalization option. Its called themes (no change). Privacy protection (no change). Still no support for 3rd party icon pack. Rupesh seems like you are talking about 'chinese retail unit'. Please make sure to specify it in your video. Chinese rom gets more features than Indian variant. You should know that. Average consumers don't import phone from China.

The ability to uninstall bloatware or even remove them from app drawer is the best feature for me. I wanted to use the app drawer but I didn't used it because the app drawer shows all the crappy bloatware and it looks ugly so i used the default iOS style home screen and put all those unused bloatware in one folder in a far away page. Thankfully I don't have to do that anymore

I am a pilot tester for poco f2 pro miui 12.5 and i love it.
I love how they hype us with updates and when it releases in India we don't get any. We just get basic features, no new features shown on china rom. Duh!

Miui 12 is great especially floating window... But it sucks bcoz UA-cam and whatsApp are not working which we use very often.
They took 1 year to give us the navigation gestures. They will take who knows how many years to roll out the 12.5 update *without bugs*.
K20 pro users still waiting for navigation gestures, 1 year 4 months after getting the android 10 update

Actually it's not like that. I have got that navigation gestures on mi 10 or redmi note 8 pro way earlier than my redmi K20 pro. It's because in India, Redmi K is no long under Redmi, it's totally a part of POCO brand. As K30 came as poco X2. So navigation gestures are not supported on POCO launcher.

My personal experience with the 12.5 beta version of and my MIUI. EU has been wonderful. I'm running a 9T Pro and really couldn't be happier with all of the changes
Miui 12.5 is better however custom roms will provide better performance but they are unstable
Bruh, when u have a top phone you don't need to worry about that 'performance' + 'boost' i have never experienced lags on MIUI and if happens(on any ui) well, i will not die
@@omegaXwolf custom roms are 100% stable I have never had an app crash or a system reboot and I've been using custom roms on the mi 9t pro for 1 year, you just cant install beta versions of them and expect everything to work.

Please discuss the button shortcut after I update its hard to use split screen and floating window . I want to back the old one where it's very easy to use split screen
Hopefully this will fix most of the glitches in MIUI 12.
If Xiaomi removes ads from MIUI, it will become one of the best custom skins and i will consider buying Xiaomi phones

More than this they need to optimize the UI to much as I saw a Speedtest between the latest mi 11 and OnePlus 8t and it showed sd865 is way more good than sd888 and that would have actually not happen if it would be optimised

Calendar is not showing Festivals as it used to do earlier.
In recent apps, option of lock apps, split screen is not showing.
In new notification panel data usage is not showing.
12.5 is nothing but a nightmare.
After MIUI 12.5 update on my phone (redmi note 10), there are some features added but some are missing
Missing:
1) Wallpaper and personalisation
2) Power off menu
3) System cannot be uninstalled (yet)
4) Approximate location
5) Privacy protection page is not the same as what is shown in the video
6) Directly convert a photo into pdf and recognise text option are not there in the gallery
7) No super wallpapers
I think this is due to being in global ROM. Chinese ROM may have it. Who knows 🤷♂️

@@karisyarisya im pretty sure, important system apps are not uninstallable. only those apps like radio which aren't really that important for the phone. Maybe apps like the compass and others are uninstallable too

I just got the MIUI 12.5 update on my Redmi Note 7, and the only features I have from this video are the updated battery screen and the new notes app.

True. Miui became straight up garbage after Miui 10. This recent Miui 12 update made the ui even more heavy and sluggish. I love the new features they bring but they really make the phone very slow. Hope 12.5 fixes it

Hi, I think the Wallpaper and Personalization bit in settings is dependent on phone model, I have Mi 10T in 12.5 and I still have separate Wallpaper only option.
Just received it on redmi note 8 in January 2022 so far...
