Battery performance related to average screen on time based on daily activities, and battery optimization when phone is not used for a long period.
Same after using miui for 5-6 years i switched to a motorola phone . Its clean and i knew that i am gonna miss miui i did this and now i was regretting until i understood that . They have only changed the name and some aesthetic apperances here and there . It is still a laggy software and after just some days I'll have to compromise with the bugs . So i am not going back to it maybe.

HyperOS still couldn't fix a bug for me in Poco F3 that's been present for 2+ years where the recents apps tray just freezes when you click and hold any app if you're using a non-stock launcher. truly HyperOS should've just been called MIUI 15
@@insomniac8016 at this point it really does seem like it. not being able to use gestures with non-stock launchers on an unrooted device is in itself enough of a nerf. why have to go out of their way to remove functionality from the recents tray as well. it's things like these that I'll finally be switching away from Xiaomi after brand dedication for like 7 years
The thing which most people need to realise is that all these smooth animations, blur effects etc. are only available for the pro and pro plus models. For eg. I have used the Redmi Note 12 5G (Base model) and Redmi Note 10 Prime both which didn't have super smooth animations or any other extra features like the pro models. Also even in case of most Hyper OS features like the cool lockscreen, only some of it is available for the base variant while better ones are there for the pro ones. So I would recommend getting the pro version if you prefer these qualities of the OS.
Google has discontinued access to the root directory ( Android>> data>> files) from Android 13 and above. Is it true with the MIUI and the new HYPEROS also? Xiaomi brought this os to their tablet too. Has it changed the access to the all apps on the Google play store? ( Similar to ios and iPod os are different.)
Am using MLUSB app for my hard disk file transfer for the past 5 years.. Right from one plus 7 , redmi k50i, pixel 7a all worked well with MLUSB.. but my new MI 14 with hyper os not able read the hard disk.. Says the format is not supported... But the same working good with redmi k50i miui 14 Not only this there are lot of small bugs in HYPER OS.... As of now I feel like MIUI is better than HYPER OS hope the team will improve the OS

Xiaomi13 user here. hyperOS is a big mistake! It drains the battery much faster than MIUI14, animations aren't that fast anymore, stutters do occur much more frequently and apps load noticably longer. Performance-wise hyperOS is thrash. Rolling back to MIUI14

Yes the ads are bad but you can disable most of those ads but some still remain. The main disconcern with memeui is due to their bloated os like marketing agents, mi cloud, coin, etc collecting and sending data. But you can unlock bootloader and flash a custom rom on it if you are planning to buy for long term, this is only possible if the device has snapdragon chipset mediatek chipset device are not able to flash custom rom.

Did HyperOS solve my worst pet peeve on MIUI - delayed notifications? I really hate it when I use Facebook Messenger on Windows and all the notifications are delayed on MIUI. Syncing of notifications is flawless on iOS. MIUI is trash.
Just use universal debloater + disable all unnecessary notifications except whatsapp. You will get stock android. I got poco x6 at 17k I don't do gaming. No gaming means no data transfer ufs2.2 won't affect. Casual day usage gives 8hr sot. Amazing os and phone.

Hyper Os is still a MIUI with less bugs and some visual changes in the OS. this is the only department where MI is lacking , Today most MI users are using custom ROMS just because of this reason.

I can make a coffee while starting up this OS. It's so slow even when al started up, it is not. All the icons need to load in the menu. It's like working with a PC with HDD and not much memory all over again. When you try to multitask, it forgets everything when you open the app again and can start from the beginning. It's frustrating and a total nightmare OS. And don't forget about ads... There everywhere. Don't buy that junk again.

i got hyperos update in xiaomi 11i hypercharge it was full of bugs laggy and it work like hell had to reboot now working good

I have mi 11x(poco f3) and the phone has drastically improved in performance. So far i hven't noticed any hiccups.

Updated to hyper OS .. but my phone lags and hangs a lot and restarts by itself ..

There is no Security update in Hyperos. Still they remain same as MIUI.

In my older redmi it actually removed some settings, introduced screen bugs and battery drain... All this for some customization on the launcher

Previously using mi11x i can say it's full of customisation but but now I'm using Samsung galaxy s23 fe belive me it's more more than Miui...
