@@nutl00se73 It was not. He does not accept anything for free. That's all. He's not a moron. That's his style. He loves to help others, but does not take anything for free if he can help it. He knows the owner is low in business. He will anyway refuse his offer no matter how generous it is. If it was a small thing, he would have taken it. But, not an entire meal 🙂. that's the kind of person he is.

sri lankans made temples on mountains bcz monks have to meditate with less distractions by being away from human habitats,
so they can meditate with less distractions, and its also good for physical health of buddhist , not just mental health , ever wonder most chinese japanese temples also made on hills? its how mental health, spirituality dominated asian mindset works

The river is the Nilwala Ganga, Matara. Very beautiful area. I have been watching you from your first visit to Sri Lanka because the place you are visiting now is where my family home is, and yes we were right by the crocodiles! I miss it a lot. The boat with the rope is a very old ferry point, I think it is called Nupe ferry. So good that you are promoting the country it has so much to offer, such a variety of things to enjoy, and the people are so welcoming and make some of the best food anywhere!

Polhena/Madiha beach, and Sinharaja rain forest from Deniyaya are some of the other great places in Matara, other than the famous Mirissa, Weligama and Dhikwella beaches. Patna sliding rock at Deniyaya also will be an interesting place to be. Thank you for visiting my home town and creating great content.
