2:05:23 😂 I love it, he stolen the crowd’s hearts , specially “sorry for delay the game haa” he knows the fans cannot wait for Denmark men double match that plays after his match
What a godlike performance of Kunlavut Vitidsarn this whole tournament. How he keeps his cool after losing first game these last matches is just spectacular. Congratulations world champion Vitidsarn!
Vitidsarn is so fit, seriously. It's not that Naraoka was unfit. Vitidsarn was just on another level. If you watch how he and Ratchanok trained with this coach you will know.. How much hard work is needed to always play so steady, so balanced and so consistently no matter how many matches and rallies. He was patient and played a very tactical and strategic game, and ultimately the more prepared player coming into this match
What a disgusting crowed, for booing for passiv playing. They are all never came so far, to know, how it is feeling. It is not, that they don't want, more because of the Match was extremly exhausted. After a hard week, it is definitely clear, that both are tired. of course you will see your hometown guys, but please, more RESPECT for the players.
It’s disgusting audience that booing to the player. They are using their concentration, tactic and endurance to win the match, not to serve your satisfaction. Respect to the player, guys.
The only reason these players have a job is because ultimately this is for entertainment, that’s why the crowd booing is in fact relevant. If nobody wants to watch you it doesn’t matter how good you are it’s going to be harmful to the sport and yourself.
Congrats to Vitidsarn but gotta say, the crowd booing was unneeded. Both players were super tired and decided to clear against each other to regain some breathe but instead of encouraging or making it comedic, the danish crowd decided to boo. I've seen other crowds laugh or encourage and it's the first time I saw a crowd take it negatively. Whoever started it - has probably NEVER played singles ever in his life or ever played any sport competitively. You just know it's that type of person.
Agree completely. I was so annoyed when the crowded started booing. It was rude and uncalled for. It was also disappointing how Gill kept criticizing Naraoka for walking to the shots and not taking it early. He was tired.
Yes I agree. It is a world cup final, any player would gove their maximum to win it - they were so tired, they didn't walk around because they were disrespectful. Umpire saying make more effort? Who is he to decide how tired the players should be. Also the crowd I found very disrespectful. This is not a show that players have to entertain. It is entertaining enough amd admirable how long rallies they survive and still go on - I'd lime to see who in the crowd would be able to do that or of the umpire would be able to do that. You must be very tired for to walk around like that on such a prestigious tournament. Not a choice. My ultimate respect for both
Glad I saw this and similar posters below this, totally agree, those rallies were RELENTLESS, walking and clearing is all they could do, was nobody's fault. Weird they kept criticizing Naraoka, for him to be able to walk like that means the Thai player was not making him move either, but that is besides the point, there was nothing but maximum effort and those rallies, even the long drawn out ones were fun to watch.
WE MADE HISTORY, THAILAND! World champion. So love to our hero Kunlavut Vitidsarn!! 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭 First game was very tight but after 2 game, we saw Kodai started to lose steam & get tired due to tough first game imo. Thx for Kunlavut's great condition against very tough Kodai, even with some finger and knee wounds.
They’d played almost 2 hours match against each others 2 times. Once is at Malaysia Open and the second is here but you can see how different of the crowds, no one booing to them in Malaysia open while this match the crowds showed how rude they are.😒 p.s. this is a competition and the players played to win the match not for entertaining the crowd.
Naraoka needs to improve his stamina, Kunlavut is the most skilled player in this generation , a former Junior World champion & now a Men's World Champion, congratulations
Interesting you think that. I have been focusing only on KV's matches since he defeated Viktor last year and I knew he was the favorite in this tournament.
Do u guys know that after Vitidsarn won the second game he look a bit tired then He told he’s coach that’ let’s play with fun’ and then he got back alert again and make the points*that’s a monster 👿
Go watch the 2011 World Championship finals then... never have I seen a final where the players start walking. I get that both players were playing an overly patient game, but at this level and stage its unforgivable. The most LCW vs LD did before is repeatedly clear to each other, and LCW would only "walk around" if he was against a really boring weaker player. I don't ever recall seeing any of the top last-gen players gassed out like this, because they'd be playing more aggressively. The crowd booed for a reason - this is a World Championship final after all.
Hey Japan coach, you're here to give encouragement and advice, not to put pressure on your athletes, which I clearly see led to Naraoka's defeat. Since the second half of the 2nd game after making some mistakes, Naraoka has mostly played in a kind of quitting since then to the end. In 3rd game, he wanted to play with his coach more than with Vitidsarn. This is just my personal view, Vitidsarn played so well today and he deserves the winning.
Can’t agree more. Seems like the coaches constrained him to change tactics. Also Naraoka overcooked it on the first two sets. Great fight Naraoka. Well deserved for Vitidsarn, huge respect for humbled player like Vitidsarn
It doesn't matter bro. Naraoka had already spend all his energy on the 1st set, he was pretty much done after the 1st set. Tactics don't matter if Naraoka have no energy to play it.
@@CoolNumber1 yes I just analyzed his attitude throughout the match, especially his changing interactions with coaches and his walking on court while playing in such an intense final. Btw, this is just an opinion.
note: both players have similar playing style, they both play defensive Naraoka is from japan, of course their game is mainly defensive.. and Vitidsarn’s idol being Lee Chong Wei, he also enjoys rally games. To those who think Naraoka’s stamina isnt enough, have you tried lasting almost 2 hours with nowhere near 10 mins of rest? the crowd booing is pointless, dont bother watching if you want to boo the player when they dont play the way you want it to be.
Happy to see the crowd did enjoy the match and appreciated players’s brutal fight , at the end they gave them standing ovation and share a laugh at Vitidsarn’s interview.
They enjoyed seeing vitidsarn try, it seemed as if in the last set he tried to smash and bring the pace up as much as possible, and even apologised for the match during the interview. That gained everyone's respect
Vithidsarn is really cunning. He always chooses to move as little as possible while pressures his opponent to move as much as possible then drag the match to 3rd set, preys on his exhausted opponent.
Chúc mừng KV làm nên lịch sử cho Thái Lan. Khá tiếc cho Kodai nhưng lối đánh của các anh vđv Japan outmeta rồi. KV đánh không khác gì các đàn anh LCW hay LD hồi xưa.
Bizarre final I have seen in recent times. Except for the amazing retrieving skills, they both are so defensive players that they resorted to unnecessary long rallies in the first set. With no gas left in the second set, they are literally tossing up, I mean what the heck was going on. Exaggerated lengthy game but lacks the quality of competition we as a fan expected.
I dont think so. Kullavut has a stamina of a rhinosaur and he's very cunning that he forced extends the match to the 3rd set to prey on his exhausted opponent. The only strategy besides you being much better than him all the way is that you need to conserve your energy as much as possible while try to defeat him in all the sets which is very hard to do but seems to be the only way.
it seemed to me that Naraoka was not at his best physically. Even in set 1 he missed some shots to what looked like a lack in body tension. A lack of body tension not only lost him some points, but also put additional strain on the rest of his body (in this instance legs/knees). Some of his extremely high clears while walking back to his position indeed indicate knee pain and a need to vary the use of leg muscles. At 18-20 in set 2 you could really see that he was trying to put more effort in (he was 4 points from winning at that point), but could only keep it up for a few moves.
@@sx5r true but it still is the result of his own playstyle being used against him and since vits strength is his shot quality, he inevitably won this match up. this isn't the result of naraokas final match condition but Vits own resilience, shot quality strength and cunning.
Kunlavut calmness and humbleness are completely no jokes! 100% respect for the guy. Naraoka also had an excellent performance though. Bravo!
