It’s my opinion that this is why having a “Middle Class” is so important. Most people actually want to a good life, but also one that isn’t encumbered with massive stress.
I’m 20 years old, and inexperienced, but it seems like a good course of action is, if you live the US, to make $65-$100k/ year by working a meaningful job, and learn how to use it wisely. Then, make sure you do your best to be the most positive influence that you can on the community. At that point you should be able to tell whether or not you need to be rich in order to have a “good” life. But the fact is that life’s most valuable experiences do not come to the people who have the most money. People think money will solve all their problems, but they are missing something that’s more fundamental to the soul. Truth, Love, Wisdom, Companionship, and Honest Accomplishment, are all great examples of things that are more meaningful to our souls than money.
Plus, since the centralized banking idea took off in the early 20th century, all the money is fake anyways.

I am not super rich but well-off and my family is also well-off, e.g. I made ten international trips this year. Yet the thing is I get bored very easily and at this age of 42 I hardly find anything to do since I did many things I dreamed of.
