My sister and I were there at the recording! They recorded one piece in front of a roaring fire wearing thick jumpers. Jeremy Jackman had sweat rolling off his chin! Good memories!

That performance of Virgen Sancta has haunted my dreams since I was a kid. I have an original VHS of this program as well, but it isn't in much better shape. I reached out to Simon Carrington about it and he said as far as he knows this is the only recording of it that exists. Wish I could find the laser disk and get a clean recording.

I didn't even think of looking if it was on Laserdisc! If I come across it, for cheap, I'll definitely revisit this recording.

Someone on eBay had the laserdisc and a player for sale a while back. This program my all-time favorite version of the “Wildwood Carol,” not found elsewhere, so I was tempted... Thank you for posting this!
