IGO is the usual pinout for the 7805 THT regulators I deal with everyday and someone else repairing one of these said IGO was the standard pinout for the SMD types too, lamenting that the Brother P-Touch was IOG instead. You sure IGO is the non-standard pinout for these?
so i just got a brother p touch pt-d210. i put the batteries in which were all brand new out of the box. i press the button and nothing happens. i took it apart and lemme say i have no idea wtf i am doing. i put the batteries in and use a multimeter and touch the positive to positive and so on. i get spark and i assume oh we’ve got power but it’s just not going anywhere. i work on mowers all the time so spark is a great thing. i don’t have any clue what to do now
What model P-Touch is that & where did you buy it? Also, does it use the same tapes as Western models? I already have an hand-held one but am annoyed that it prints almost every other language EXCEPT Japanese!!
It's a PT-18r and was purchased in Japan, it seems to just use standard cartridges. It is/was sold in USA too but that one won't have Japanese language.

So you're one of those psychos that orders a *single* SMD part! At least get a few spares for the parts draw haha
Japan style 'just in time' philosophy. :P
I already got too many spare parts to add more. :D
@@NearFarMediamy motto is that if I ever needed it once I will probably need a few more in the future. ;)
Hi, I have a Chinese PT-D200. Is it possible to change the machine's language to English?
